Mask mandate or 6 ft distance wasn’t actively in affect. A couple was smoking at the bench right in front of the main entrance. We unloaded and went out to eat. Upon returning, we noticed a few people out front with luggage leaving complaining of no air in their rooms. We didn’t have that problem but our television wasn’t working. A disaster traveling with a 2 year old and it was after 12 when we returned so trying to find another hotel would be merely impossible. The front staff came in and the first thing out her mouth was, why isn’t she sleep! I nearly went off but by the looks of her, I realized, she lacked professionalism as well as hygiene. So I stated in an obvious tone, first, because she slept our 6 hr drive here and second that’s really irrelevant to you. She tried to fix the tv and kept going on how the manager always leave them there to address the constant issues that keep arising and she really didn’t know what to tell me. I asked what my options were. She stated, I’m trying to get a hold of the manager. I mean I’m trying to see if I can refund your money because if I move you to another room, the tv maybe working and the air or lights maybe out. Needless to say, I ended up calling down after I had not from her after an hour. She stated, she’d call right back. It was 2 hours later. She apologized and said when I checked out, I would receive half of my stay refunded. However, the morning staff personnel stated, without a manager, they could only me 10% ($7.84) and that my name and number was written down for when the manager returns (who happened to be on vacation, per her) and he would contact me and offer more of a refund. It’s June 1, 2021. I was there May 8, 2021. I’ve called, left a message for the manager, and have yet to hear from him. Also, the tablet they wrote my information in was nearly 6 pages full prior to getting to my name. I think this manager doesn’t value this hotel and like so many others, he’s allowing it to become run down because the only thing that matters is money over character and liability....
Read moreO my word, I don't usually review, however this time I feel I must. We choose this hotel because of it 24 shuttle and long term parking. Short story, loud all night, walls like paper, and she didn't book our 4 am shuttle so morning manager rudely told me to uber even though I had a whole conversation about needing the shuttle at check in and was told it is a 24 hr shuttle. She didn't put it on my paperwork so... nope no shuttle!!!
Earlier on way to hotel I called to confirm my stay which I booked over the phone directly with them 2 weeks earlier, no confirmation email was sent, they told me no reservation. So then I spent an hour calling all the other laquintas panicked looking for who I booked with, checked my call log from 2 weeks prior, yup it was for sure them, called back and now I'm magically in the system reservation came up straight away.
Room was so loud all night, someone down stairs was playing electric guitar loudly at 10 pm, and you can hear everyone walking in the halls, the ac unit I super bright lighting up the whole room all night.
In the morning even after having a yes the shuttle will be here at 3:30 and 4 am it's every half hour 24 hours a day with the day clerk, got down stairs ready 15 min to 4 am and there's no shuttle, according to the night clerk the day clerk didn't note a shuttle needed so none was ordered.. A) I did ask for a shuttle 2 weeks prior when booking and at check in when I specified the importance of 4 am shuttle needed as I booked my car for the extended stay. B) you advertise a 24 hour shuttle, no where at anytime was I told they need to be ordered. And he was so rude!! So now I'm out another $16 for the uber I had to order last minute, thank goodness uber drivers are 25 hours.
Won't stay here again, if I'm going to have to uber anyway I'll drop my car off at another long term parking lot for a much better price and get a better room, I went with them because of convenience and that proved so...
Read morePrice was good, they "offer free shuttle" but when we arrived I tried calling 4 times and never got through to anyone so I had to pay an uber. Room was ok, had a bit of smoky smell but whatever... Beds were comfy and pillows were ok. Good selection of toiletries. Now why 1 star?? Because I had to pay for an uber twice! When I checked in, I asked how often the shuttle goes by, if it's every hour or half hour and they lady at the front desk said it's on demand. So I said 7:45am and then she said no, it's either 8am or 8:30am 😒ok... So I asked for a shuttle at 8am she wrote it down. I went for breakfast with my kids, one of my kids has a new prosthetic after getting her leg amputated because of cancer so it's harder to get around. A way it's 7:45 and man comes in yelling "shuttle to the airport" and I said, is this the same one for 8am? And he said yes and I said, I was told 8am etc... Long story short I said ok, give me a minute I will go get the suitcases, I took my son to help me took maybe 2 min Tops! And guess what? He left, he didn't care and my daughter who waited for me there said soon as I turned around he rolled his eyes and started talking smack about me WOW very professional! I then proceed to ask for the front desk clerk who was hidden away in the back office... And well again, the lack of customer service and professionalism was just so sad. All she said was " yeah the shuttle comes at 7:45am" despite seeing my room number on a post it note saiyjgn 8:00am so I asked why was I told 8 am and she said I dunno, miscommunication I guess! Well thanks! I ordered an uber AGAIN and then took the kids out front to wait for it and when I turned back the kitceh. Lady and the front desk one who just staring at me and talking, probably talking smack too. Very frustrating experience and even my daughter who is 10 years old can tell the difference between good and the worst...
