Such a wonderful experience staying at Peachqueen Campground. Love the staff, they are so very welcoming to me and My special needs son. They are very understanding about my autistic son’s needs. I’ve made some lifelong friends there. Great location, right off the interstate, close to everything we needed. Being a single mom I felt very safe and secure staying there. Grounds are kept up superbly, restrooms/showers always fresh and clean. My son and I enjoyed walking trails by the lake. Can’t wait to fish next time we go. Super nice pavilion for events or just hanging out enjoying lunch and the view. Fenced in area for dogs to run and play. Our favorite was the swimming pool roped off to separate the shallow and deeper ends. I laid out in the sun a lot, got a great tan while I was there. Large playground area for kids to play. Laundry room was always clean, pricing good. The staff are great people from the first moment I called and checked in and throughout our 6 months stay there. Can’t wait to go back and see the whole team again, Cheryl, Matt, Erica, and Fred and other family and friends there. Thanks a bunch for being so good to us, see y’all soon. Remember...

A great stopping point off I-65 or close to Clanton. We are a family of 4 with 3 dogs. I was not sure what to expect due to mixed reviews. We were in the area for a gymnastics competition so we made reservations before we had a competition time. I called the week before arrival and changed my nights and asked if we could stay plugged in until after the awards were over. They were super accommodating. We like to pick sites by the playground so we can see the kids playing...energy needs to be used after long car rides. The dog park was great and there was a lot of open land so we could throw to our lab. ALL the grass was freshly cut. The kids wish the pool was open it looked great. They had 2 tables and chairs. The negatives as advertised the bathhouse was not in great shape but you can tell they are working on it. It says closed on the website but you can use it. We used our camper bathroom since they have full hook ups. The pull through campsites were tight and they did not all have pinic tables. There was a pavilion by the pond with tables.

We would book again if we return to the...

This would be a wonderful campground except it is extremely unkept. I was thankful we were here less than 24 hours. Each site had tall grass, beer cans, cigarette butts, and bags of trash left over. We were at site 41 and there was a screen door we had to move before we could pull in. The play ground and a multitude of knee high thistles, chip bags and juice boxes left on the ground. The pond is beautiful, the sites are level snd it is easy to navigate but the dirty sites ruined the experience. It is a shame because this location is great and it could be a great family campground if someone would put a little time to oversee it. The office is closed in the weekends… makes no sense to me to be closed on the busiest days of the week but it speaks volumes to the care that is not placed into...

Bringing campers closer one site at a time. Literally bringing them as close as possible. There was only a small patch of grass between my site and the ones next to me. But if you are only stay in for the night this is a convenient campground. They also have many fairly long and level sites available. The sites have 50/30 amps, water and sewer. There are also tent sites. The WiFi was strong and consistent. The pool was awesome with cold water and a slide. There are two individual bathrooms with a toilet, sink, shower and air conditioning available. The campground is near a gas station with overnight truck parking so you will hear the engines running all night. There is also a lot of traffic within the park with cars and trucks going in and out all day and some of the night.

Bathrooms were clean, showers in the bathrooms, multiple bathrooms. Playground, dog area that was fenced in, lake you can fish in,it is free, no license required, it is catch and release, but it was fun. I spent my whole day fishing. They have a swimming pool and it is included in your stay, it's not extra to swim. The staff is super friendly and they pick up your garbage at 11AM.The sites are pull through and back in with full hookups, the sites were level. This is the first time we have stayed somewhere and the site was "Roger level" without using pads. I will be going back. Yes it's close to the interstate, but I didn't have a problem with it. It has several stores and places to eat nearby and a dollar general under a mile nearby in case you need anything extra.

It was a decent camp ground and the folks were very friendly. Pros: It was right off the expressway but far enough so you didn't hear the traffic. It was very quiet. They had a nice lake, pool, play ground, and dog park. Cons: There were no picnic tables. The pool was closed for the season because there was a chlorine shortage. A lot of the campers seemed to be long term and most did not look well kept. The grass in the camping area was very long. There were no trees in the row we parked in. Out back, there were random piles of dirt and a big pile of strewn lumber. Summary: This has the makings of a very nice camp ground but seems to be lacking in overall maintenance.
