That view! That grass! Those cabins! I mean Idk where to even start. This place was the highlight of my entire vacation and we did most of the things that people would go to Homer for. The cabins are small but bigger than most hotel rooms. The mini kitchen is well stocked with coffee, utensils, dishes and cups. The rooms are so clean, I felt like I was the first person to ever be inside this place. Its dog friendly! My little fur babies had the best time too. The beds are big and comfortable. Lots and lots of pillows and blanket. Caught a nice ocean breeze and drifted into dream world every night. The nights are free of most light pollution so the sky fills with stars. So even when the sun goes down and the breath taking view of the glaciers goes away, you can just look up and hope you can catch your breath again. Its close to nothing but near everything. Short drive down to the spit or historic downtown. The grass was like the lawns of my child hood. It was so nice and well kept, and just that perfect shade of green. The length was long enough to feel right under your feet. I loved just siting in the grass. This place was perfect for my family and our dogs. There isn't a doubt in my mind that...
Read moreSept 2022 - There was a change in ownership, my impression is still about the same, however this time we were not so lucky. We didn't' feel the cabin was clean enough. We found greasy and sticky "ring stains" on the dinning table, some hair on the wall of the shower and the issue that sealed the deal was when I was trying to turn on the lamp near my bed and I touched a chewed bubble gum... Yeah... Hopefully it was just a fluke and travelers get to have a cleaner cabin. Aug 2021 - This is an amazing place to be. Friendly dogs are welcome and I loved spending time with my furry babies in Homer. Kelly made our stay even more perfect by furnishing the cabin with coffee and tea items, s'mores kit and even wood for the available fireplace next to the cabin. Everything was wonderful, exceptionally clean and I truly...
Read moreWe stayed in the cabin named Forget-Me-Not and it was advertised as being able to sleep 4 which was what we needed. This was only true on paper. There was a large bed that my parents reported to be fairly comfortable but my husband and I got the futon. Most people would be better sleeping on the floor. That futon was NOT meant to be sat on, much less slept on. Providing an air mattress or some kind of pad to lay on top of it is advisable. If we'd have stayed longer than one night, at least two of us would have had to go get a hotel. We are in so much pain this morning!|The cabin was "clean" meaning there was no trash in the cans or dirt on the floor but it smelled extremely musty. Understand that you are paying for the view, which was pretty awesome, NOT the...
