we had the best experience at this hotel!! my husband and i wanted to get out of the house for our anniversary, and we live here in town but i stayed here back when it was the renaissance when i was younger and i loved it! Brandi checked us in and she was so kind and informative, which the check in is the first impression so we were sold. our room was beautiful and clean, and even though we booked last minute they helped us with our request of being on a higher floor. she even made sure it was okay that we were by the elevator, and we personally don’t mind as it adds convenience. the second night we were here we took a trip down to the bar and was greeted by a very kind bartender Mandi! she made us the absolute yummiest drinks, and provided AMAZING conversation with us as we drank. she gave wonderful recommendations, and made us feel so at home. she listened to us talk about our lives and had a smile on her face the entire time, and Brandi was also nearby as we were at the bar and chimed into the conversation like we were all besties! every time we have walked through the lobby they have asked us how we were and gave us smiles and waves. i struggle a lot with social situations and they have made us feel comfortable the entire time. also the showers are amazing here, and my husband is taller so having a good shower is worth a lot so he doesn’t have to crouch! and the coffee in the lobby is actually good, and their continental breakfast has so many good options! the waffles were SO yummy. this has been an incredible experience, and we are only halfway through our stay! if you are looking for a great spot with great people, THIS IS YOUR PLACE :) thank you so much to everyone here, we will be recommending and staying here in the future!
and they are pet friendly with pups, so seeing all the cute dogs has been a huge plus! thank you to best western, and specifically thank you to Mandi & Brandi for taking this experience to the...
Read moreWe recently stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a very pleasant experience overall. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very clean, and our room was very spacious. We had a 2 queen room and it was large enough to comfortably fit a pack and play for our baby with plenty of room left for her to crawl and play. The a/c worked great, and there were lots of lighting options in the room. ||Something to note for parents: the bathrooms only have showers, so if you’re traveling with small children, plan accordingly. Also, the room doors close with a lot of force, so be careful with little fingers!||The beds were a bit soft for our personal preference, but not uncomfortable, and certainly not a deal breaker. The pool was a bit cold for being indoors and the hot tub wasn’t especially hot, but these were minor inconveniences and wouldn’t stop us from staying here again.|||Breakfast was standard for a Best Western—nothing fancy, but it had a decent variety and was enough to get us going for the day. In the evenings the breakfast area is used as a cocktail lounge where food and drinks could be purchased. We didn't take advantage of this, but when we passed through it looked like something we would consider for future stays. ||Our biggest issue was the limited handicapped parking, which was a challenge for our group. It’s something we hope the hotel considers expanding in the future.||Overall, we had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to...
