Absolutely loved my week stay here. Great value. I was in water / electric back-in spot 6. There is a dump station on site. The wi-fi is incredible. Had no issue working remotely. It backs up to a park. On certain evenings around 7-8pm, you get visited by moose who come in to feed on the vegetation in the area. So neat. The Park owner is super friendly. They stay on site and are around for any questions that pop-up or whatnot. The grounds are taken care of nicely. And though it's right off the expressway I did not find it noisy at all. They offer DVDs at the office to borrow. They have a nice laundry room, bathrooms and showers and a pop machine out front. Also, a community area in the middle with a gazebo for sitting and chatting with the other guests. It's in a great location with a grocery store, restaurant and gas station nearby. And the sunsets are pretty too. Definitely would stay here again.

The managers are super helpful and friendly and I do not blame them for my 3 star review. They were great. The location is convenient and we were grateful to find a place open in the off-season during our cross country trek. There are technically 3 pull-through sites, but it is a very small park and navigating those sites with a big rig or long trailer is not advised. The bathrooms had ample hot water, but were in desperate need of a cleaning. The location is right by the on-ramp, so the convenience comes with the noise of acceleration. Not a big deal if you run a noise machine, which is what we do anyway. The park also needed some general clean-up (cigarette butts in the firepit area, a random port-o-potty next to a long-term camper's site). It was very affordable though, so these things are easy to overlook if you are a smallish rig and just passing through.

The manager here is friendly and helpful. He suggested we pull through our site from the back so our view would be the mountain and so we have a private space for our table. It’s Labor Day so their were tents next to us on the other side. Our site is on grass which is clean and nice compared to the usual pavement or gravel. He invited us to move the table to wherever we’d like it, and there is a hole in the middle for people who bring umbrellas. He said a moose enjoys eating the bush by our table, but we close our blinds at night so I don’t know whether one has appeared. However our friends saw 2 moose less than a mile away on the bike trail at about 6pm.

I would be happy to update this review please read on. The prices are reasonable and Dave the manager is running a tight ship. Everything is clean and for tent campers (us) the included shower was a huge plus. The poor rating comes from the what are apparently permanent residents of the small park. Setting the scene. 15 or so RV sites in a horseshoe with a gazebo in the middle surrounded by grass that the half dozen tent sites share. Small, but reasonable. Now add the couple with the old RV with the American flag and enough personal possessions outside their camper to let you know they have been there a while. Bit of a red flag, as we are moving into trailer park territory, not campground. Red flag is earned as the evening progresses. This couple moves strongly into cocktail hour with their music blaring across the small park as the rest of the campground settles into going to bed. Their friends show up toting another bottle of booze. Top off the evening with a bout of screaming over their predictable domestic dispute complete with slamming doors and plenty of yelling. The solution is pretty simple, give Dave the ability to put up that 14 day limit that most public parks have and keep it a travelers way point. The low price point is attracting the wrong crowd. Or just give Dave the power to send the undesirables packing. I just wanted a peaceful night to move onto next activity. Didn't get it and wouldn't go back. Sorry Dave, not really on you, but those folks and people like them got to be asked to leave. Edit: owner is aware of issues presented in this review and cares enough to respond. Plus one star. (was...

The owners/managers are so very hospitable. Pleasant to deal w on phone during booking and very nice in person. For a camping experience, the bathrooms were exceptional! Privacy, hot showers, flushing toilets, mirrors... this is why I’m giving it stars at all.||The tent camping area is very, very small. We had guests flanking both sides of us (4/6 of the campsites were being used for the night) and it felt cramped. The grounds are adjacent to the freeway on-ramp separated by a chain link fence. To say the interstate’s traffic noise was loud is an understatement; I’m not sure if the reviewer who left “noise is not a problem” slept inside an RV or was deaf, but noise was definitely a problem for us! We all slept with earplugs in and I was only able to get about 3 hours of shuteye. ||Maybe the area is fine for RVing, but we will not be returning. Also, we ran over a nail in their parking lot and were stuck there until the next morning when we could get to a tire shop; we may have just driven home for the...
