Lots of different fried goodies. We had the jalapeno poppers, pork bites, and cheese curds. Not the biggest fan of the pork but it wasn't bad, the other two were wonderful. They have quite a few options for sandwiches and burgers. I even saw a chimichanga on their menu. To be honest though I was really there for the milkshakes. They do not disappoint! Almost any flavor you can think of, Plus lots of add-on candy bit options. We got a huckleberry one that was super smooth and creamy. Also an Irish cream one with butterfinger bits 🤤. Food was great and the (I'm thinking locally made) outdoor seating tables and very cool.

CHICKEN FRIED STEAK SANDWICH?!! ....WHAAAAHH????? YES! ....And it was AWESOME! They even asked if we wanted country gravy (white) or brown gravy. It came as a dip sandwich and and my wife and I LOVED it! Wish more places offered this. And we were in onion ring heaven. These were fantastic! We loved the atmosphere, the conversation with guests and the employees. Very friendly. DON'T MISS THIS PLACE if you're passing through like we are.

I used to enjoy coming here, it seems they have become expensive and not serving the same amount of food as they used to. Today I ordered a 2 piece chicken strip basket. They used to be REAL strips the size of my hand, today I was given two little scrap pieces. I also remember they used to serve it with more fries or tots, but this time it was a small handful… for $12 this is an inadequate amount of food.

Absolutely the most horrible service I've ever had at any restaurant. A group of us arrived, I was the first to order. I ordered a simple burger (at my request, medium, not well done), fries and coke.. not rocket science. After a normal time, 15 minutes or so, they hollered out my name. I grabbed my bag through the window, and for $12, it was surprisingly light. Extremely light. As I walk over to my table, I discover.... There's no burger. I go back to the window, the girl accused me of taking the burger out. After explaining how could I have possibly done that when I didn't even get to my table, she takes my bag back (with my fries in it) and puts it on the counter. They take another 15 or so minutes...by this time, my friends are all done with their lunch waiting for me. They holler out my name again, put the burger in my bag WITH the fries that have now been sitting on their counter for 15 minutes. At this point, I'm pissed. $12... and this kind of service?? I very blunty asked, "You're not seriously going to give me back my cold, soggy fries are you?" And this girl looked me square in the eye and said if I didn't like them I could bring them back. At this point, I took one, and yep, cold and soggy, threw the bag back through the window and told her she could just keep them. And the burger was well done... not medium as I had request.

I'm an older, grey haired, normally quite patient, individual. I can honestly say I've NEVER, EVER been treated so rudely at any eating establishment in my life, and I hope this serves as a warning to any who may travel through that town and think "Oh gee, what a nice looking little...

I been eating there from time to time for better than 50 years I have memories of being there with my grandparents. I ordered my order and had to explain my order to the attendant. who even after the explanations got my order wrong. When I told her that she got it wrong she apologized but still charged me for a burger I could not eat due to her lack of paying attention to a customer or even writing things down. I did not want to soil my memories but there is no call for such absent minded service. I paid and left. There was no attempt to make up for trying to make me sick by putting things on my burger I can not eat. I hate to leave this here but have no other way to express how unpleasant my experience was. I hope that the owners provide better training for the kids that work there or at least teach them to write down a customers order and to get back to better quality food products to serve customers. This used to be a very good place to be and it could be again.

Well I guess the owners do not care either. This is a sad thing, there used to be good honorable people running this business, but now it would seem they do not even care about having good service at this store. This is a crying shame.

Thank you for replying. I will be back in town...

I love tall pine. I grew up going there and even worked there in high school. I took my family from out of town there for lunch one day this summer. The food was amazing but the cost was way off she was over charged by about $20. My family was very upset because she has worked in this industry for 30 years as a waitress. My cousin wanted an itemized receipt but the girl stated she couldn’t give her one. The math was pretty simple and it just didn’t add up. Regardless of that happening I have continued going because we love it there and know accidents happen but since then it’s happened 2 more times. Last time we got 3 double cheeseburgers with fries for $12.50, one small and one medium shake $3 & $5 + tax $2.73== $48.23 but we were charged $57.48== $62.48 after tip. ????? If that’s happening everyday that will add up. The prices were posted on the window. I did get to talk to the cook because the waiter never came back to give us our drinks or food. I was happy to let her know that she does an amazing job!! If it wasn’t for her back there we wouldn’t go. But she is truly doing a great job. I do miss the sesame bun in the burgers. I really do love this place and hope the kinks get fixed so we can continue...
