The reviews we read in advance of our stay were encouraging and we couldn’t agree more. This cute, tidy and clean motel was perfect for a quick over night with our little dog. The night clerk, Nick, was easy and friendly, a veterans discount appreciated and no fuss about having a pet. The call to reserve the room was simple, like an old handshake, w/o having to do exhausting payment details over the phone or by app. Love this older motel style where rooms are easily accessed on one level from the car. There’s a generous dog walk too. The bed was comfortable, which is always a bonus. The bathroom newly remodeled and clean. Simple and tasteful decor. The window was openable to allow fresh night are info the room. The price was commensurate, we felt we received our money’s worth for this stay. Visited with neighbors in the morning as we readies to depart — all friendly. Thank you King’s Inn.

We would stay again! Great little place to stay off I90. A young family owns and operates the motel, they are very friendly and accommodating. Very small town, there's a bar and gas station within walking distance. The room had a couple extra blankets, microwave, mini fridge and a coffee maker. A/c was loud but thats how I like it (helps to drown out outside noise), worked great! There were a couple power strips in the room for all of our electronics. There was a boot tray for shoes. Floor was not carpeted, easier clean up. Dog friendly but no cats (stated reason: due to allergies) Shower was nice, could use a little hotter water (I like really hot showers). No breakfast (which is fine). No cable/satellite tv, only a few local channels. When hooking up laptop to tv, the TV would not allow us to switch to hdmi. No ice machine.

Very cute little place. Simple, yet nice and clean too! The beds were comfy and the room was quiet & looks recently updated. Everything worked properly. I appreciate the extra towels!! We stayed here because all other rooms along the interstate were either unavailable or overpriced. The people that work here were super nice. We'd stay here again. Great find!

I have to say that over the years I have stayed in a lot of hotels and motels across the country. the big problem with all of them are the outlandish rates they charge and they get away with that. They are run by some big corporation , no personal touch. Well I had a pleasant surprise this week I was on a hunting trip and decided to stay at the" KINGS INN" in Kennebec South Dakota. Briefly I have to say that it Is owned and operated by very friendly and accommodating family . The motel is in a quiet location , the rooms are very clean and comfortable almost made me feel like I was home. I am looking forward to staying there again when we come back to the area to hunt . The number one factor beside what I have mentioned so far is the EXTREMELY REASONABLE RATES.That is something you just can't find any more when you have to stay overnight while on the go. Its a pretty nice place to stay and I highly recommend staying there as I surely plan on staying there when ever I am in...
