My now husband and I could not have chosen a better place to get married. Not only is the venue a dream, but everyone who works there made our special day perfect.
-Our coordinator Lynda Moudy was so kind and helpful. She accompanied us as we met with all our vendors, and she was engaged and invested in making sure we were happy with our choices. Communication with her was great. I never felt like just another bride. Lynda really cared about our wedding and wanted it to be everything we wanted. I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. Thank you so much, Lynda!
-Chad is just the best. He also cared about our choices and didn't forget about them--which I've seen DJs do at other weddings. He was an amazing MC and made our night so fun and special. Everything was super organized and the announcements and transitions were thoughtful and sincere. We danced the night away thanks to him! He got everyone on the dancefloor!
-Cory was wonderful. You can tell he cares about his craft and making guests happy. He made some amazing and delicious drinks for us and our guests, and checked on the groom and me throughout the night to make sure we always had a drink in hand.
-Dee from Jasmine Rose flowers made the most beautiful arrangements for our wedding. Flowers arrangements are not my area of expertise so I relied on Dee to help my half-baked vision come through :) I cried when I saw my bouquet it was so beautiful! It's what I wanted with some additional touches to make it even better. All the other arrangements were just as beautiful. It really made everything look like a dream.
-Fox in the Woods. MVPs. EVERYONE raved about how amazing the food was at our wedding. We knew it was going to be a hit when we had our tasting appointment, but I think the food was even better at our wedding. One thing that I so appreciated is that their staff brought us appetizers and water while we were doing our photo shoot. We had a chance to enjoy everything we chose for our guests.
-Little Bee's Cakerie made the yummiest cake and dessert for us! The set up was beautiful and the guests were delighted with the cake and desserts, they were asking for more to take home!
-James Tang, our photographer is so talented and amazing. I fell in love with his photos when we were looking at vendors. I knew our photos were going to be incredible. He is so passionate about photography, and committed to getting breathtaking shots. James is also just so kind and has the best vibes. He made us feel comfortable and we enjoyed our photo session with him.
-Andrew Cordero had been the photographer at my sister's wedding and we invited him back to film a highlight reel of our wedding. He and James worked well together, shooting video and film simultaneously, which is not easy to do real-time. He and his team did a great job of capturing all the special moments of our wedding.
-Kimtsy from Peony Blush Makeup made me feel so beautiful. She understood what I wanted and did an outstanding job. My hair and makeup were intact all day and night. She is so nice and patient, took her time making sure my sister and I looked our best.
The staff at Pine Rose Cabins were so nice and accommodating. They seemed genuinely happy and excited for our wedding. Every person we encountered was kind to us. There is something special about this team and all the vendors I mentioned above. They have the best attitude and provide wonderful care for their guests and clients. Our wedding was exactly what we had in mind and more thanks to them. We will never forget all they did for us. You all have a special place in our heart. Thank you for the magic and we hope to...
Read moreI have so many mixed feelings about this place... I'll start with the pros, the grounds are amazing, way more snow than we were expecting and outside of our cabin (the fisherman's hideaway), there was a nice sized hill that we used to sled down for a few hours and we had a blast. The TV was great and having netflix and hulu options was awesome, you can reserve time at the hot tub per hour, wifi was incredibly strong, they provided fans for us that like noise at night to sleep, and the heater worked really well and you can tell the ladies that clean the cabins do as good a job as they can... Now the not so good... First impressions, we got checked in pretty seamlessly and we were excited to start our trip, but to note, we actually arrived an hour after check-in time and when we found our way to the cabin, we were surprised to find the cleaning crew still in the cabin and in our designated parking spot. When I called the front office they were very stoic about it and didn't seem apologetic at all, they told me they would check on it and when they called me back, they blamed it on a maintenance issue saying cleaning comes back after there's maintenance in the cabin that gets done so they can reclean, I said ok no problem. Honestly that made no sense to me because if there was maintenance being done wouldn't they have said something at check-in? Nevertheless the ladies in the cabin were very nice and apologetic, also to note, they were all wearing masks which we appreciated. Now getting into the cabin... For the price point, the value isn't there, yes there's a functional kitchen but the cabin could use some serious upgrades, some of them for safety. Aesthetically it's very old green carpet stained with bleach and is at the life point where there's no softness to it anymore, my allergies were terrible while we were in the cabin and I have a feeling it was from the carpet, the remote was missing the back so the batteries kept coming out while we were using it, if you have an infant/toddler that's a huge safety issue unless you're constantly mindful of where the remote is. The couch had a HUGE tear at the top of the cushion with another tear on the backing, and the outlets... well I'll post the pictures and you can see for yourself but in the chance they don't make it one of them was missing the safety cover/face plate in the second bedroom and the one in the main bedroom you couldn't plug anything into and I don't think you'd want to anyway because it looked like it had caught on fire multiple times... Also to note, this wasn't necessarily the lodges fault but someone consistently kept walking their dog in front of our cabin and leaving poop everywhere which was really gross. We go up to the mountains every year and I really wanted to like this place but overall I was really disappointed with the cabin, again the grounds are beautiful (aside from the dog poop) but the cabin is a huge no for me and next time I'll just have to do better about booking ahead of...
Read moreOur wedding at Pine Rose was a dream come true!! It was stunning and absolutely perfect. As soon as we visited the venue we knew it was right for us, we love nature and the mountains, and the intimate venue feels like it just hugs you with love. Lynda is a ROCKSTAR, such a pleasure to work with, professional, passionate, communicative, and she made sure everything ran so smoothly for us. Having the lodge included for getting dressed and sleeping arrangements is such a huge benefit as well. You truly can’t go wrong with the amazing vendors included in the packages: we had Fox in the Woods Catering, James Tang Photography, Arrowhead DJ, Wildflowers at the Lake, and Goodwins Market Bakery. Tina with Fox in the Woods made the most delicious meal, even our guests couldn’t get enough of it and gave her team several compliments! Plus, charcuterie table- need I say more?! James Tang is a master of his craft, he has an incredible eye for landscape portrait photography creating such a natural, romantic aesthetic. He had such an awesome energetic spirit to him that was contagious and really had us enjoying taking the photos. Chad with Arrowhead DJ was the party master! He kept the vibe going on the dance floor all night and we all had a blast dancing the night away! We threw him a challenge with our grand entrance and he totally nailed it, both the wedding party and guests loved it so much! Cheryl and Karen of Wildflowers at the Lake created the most stunning florals with our wedding, they brought our vision to life and even found the flowers we were hoping for when originally we thought they may be out of season. They truly went above and beyond! Katherine at Goodwins Market made us the most delicious cake ever! (And we aren’t usually big cake fans) She has so many fun flavor combinations, and also created additional donuts and truffles to round out our dessert table options- guests loved it all! Not to mention, Katherine ended up working the night as our personal server and she was spot on making sure we had water and apps during photos, and served our meal as soon as we sat down at our sweetheart table. YES, the staff and guests all made sure we had a chance to enjoy our delicious dinner without interruption! We’ve had many friends get married by now, and they kept checking in on us during the planning process to see if we were stressed like they had been during theirs. TRULY, Pine Rose made this the easiest, most enjoyable and FUN wedding planning process. We wouldn’t change a single thing. Can’t wait to go back for an anniversary stay in one...
