While I appreciate the efforts of all vendors, I have observed a few areas where improvements could make the market more inclusive and beneficial for the entire community:

Fair Pricing: Vendors should be held accountable for keeping prices at a fair and reasonable level. Our community is diverse, representing various financial backgrounds, and accessible pricing ensures everyone can participate and benefit. Produce Costs: I have consistently supported the produce vendors; however, I’ve noticed that many prices are considerably higher than those at Sprouts, which also offers excellent quality produce. This discrepancy risks discouraging loyal community shoppers. Inclusivity: It is important to remember that the market serves not only upper-class customers but also middle- and lower-income individuals. By making prices more inclusive, vendors would likely see greater sales while strengthening their impact within the community. Customer Service: Vendors should approach customers with kindness and friendliness. Engaging with shoppers creates a welcoming environment, rather than appearing distant or unapproachable. Offering samples of produce to all customers—regardless of race, gender, or financial background—would also help foster fairness and community spirit.
