For the most part the room was clean, bed was very nice. A nice fitness room. Friendly cleaning crew. Coffee available in the lobby and a Keurig in room. A decent breakfast.
We could say for the stay was overall pretty nice.. but we ran into a couple issues that made our stay feel not so welcoming, A couple ladies at the front desk could be a little nicer, not act as though it's a chore to assist with issues or problems.(
A little backstory...Saturday (may 21st)we went to a ramen bar and I only had one bowl of ramen and a small breakfast earlier that day, Soo when I went to bed that night I woke up EXTREAMLY hungry the next morning to the point of being in painđ«I didn't want to get out of bed but wanted foood. So my husband went back down to grab me a plate. He already eaten because he's a early riser. He grabbed a plate of scrambled eggs a couple patties of sausage and a Danish for me and small plate of potatoes for himself but offered them to me first since I was so hungry. My husband then said that a staff lady that had noticed him down there earlier saw him and told him that "They had other guests they need to feed." đĄ He told her that "It was for his wife." But he got the feeling by her reaction she didn't believe him. Because I do often sleep later it's not unusual for him to bring me breakfast in bedđ„° But I can say out of all the hotels we've stayed at this is the first time my husband's been accused of being a PiG...
Read moreThe hotel was excellent. Rooms were great and comforta. Everything was clean. The pool and hot tub were clean, but the pool was too cold for us to swim in. The night shift desk person was very nice and helpful. I had a splinter, and she gave me a sewing kit with a safety pin that I used to get it out and some alcohol swabs, and a band aide. I forgot to get her name, and thanks a bunch. The breakfast was good, I just wish they had biscuits and gravy. The weekend girl did a great job, kudos to her. Negative about the breakfast is she takes the waffle maker down 30 min early.. it needs to stay up the whole time on the weekend. There were a whole lot of people still there eating when she turned it off. I asked why, and she said it is because she had to be done by a certain time, and if she didn't turn it off early, she would not get done in time and get written up. So, from a customer point of view, it would be nice if it was posted on a sign above the waffle maker, and we were told when we checked in. Another plus is that it is nice the breakfast is 6-10 every day and not just on the weekend. Also we were told by the day shift person there would be cookies bu there were not any. So it would be great if there were cookies thfoug the evening.
For the couple of suggestions I made, They did not affect the rating. They are suggestions for the customer to be aware of, and hopefully, the management...

As the sun dipped, and the long, empty highway loomed on, I decided it was time to call it a night. I called the hotel to find out if they had availability and thank goodness, they did. Although the price tag was higher than I expected, using my AAA membership helped. Pros: The clerk working that evening was just as pleasant in person as she was on the phone. She handled a disgruntled customer at the counter with professionalism. The lobby lighting was bright and inviting. The area was clean and displayed a Porsche Cayman S. They offer ice cream/milk in the evenings. The room was attractive and roomy. The temperature is controlled with a secondary key card that is given to you. After itâs inserted into the special slot you can turn on heat or air conditioning. Different, but it works. The mattress provided a great nightâs sleep that I hated to get out of bed. For my pillow lovers, there are four to each bed! The breakfast bar had plenty to offer in terms of hot and cold servings. The nice young lady, (sorry, I forgot her name) kept the area clean and well stocked. Overall: Since I arrived late in the evening, I did not take advantage of any of the amenities. The above list were the things that stood out during my visit that I admired. This was a first stay at a Comfort Inn & Suites which left a favorable...
