Ordered a veggie burger meal, I am pre diabetic with a family history of diabetes, so I am trying to lower my a1c level. I understand this is not a common menu item so I am used to waiting a little longer for my food. I ordered it for dining room as I was with my daughter who likes to eat at taco bell (in the same lobby.) After several other people got their orders first, my food finally comes up, but in a bag packaged to go. Another guest thought it was his order, picked up the bag, looked through it, moving items around and started for the door. I asked the cashier if they gave my order to the wrong person and they called him back. I asked if I could have my order remade because it was supposed to be for here, and I wanted food that hadn't been handled by a stranger. Granted the burger may have been ok, but he definitely touched the fries and you never know the hygiene of strangers. The cashier informed the manager with an attitude, "He wants one that hasn't been... Held" although the manager didn't hesitate to make me another order. The cashier was very gratious to the guy who grabbed my order, but when my order came up again (properly on a tray this time) she called it out, glared at me and walked into the back of the restaurant. She was actually nicer to the guy that grabbed the wrong order than she was to me! I would probably had let this go, but on the way out my wife decided to order a smoothie to go because she was reading a display on the wall bragging about how the smoothies were made with only the best ingredients. Then she is told that they don't carry smoothies at all, even though they advertise them IN THE LOBBY OF THE RESTAURANT. I appreciate the restaurant having an alternative to regular burgers, but the service needs to...
Read moreThe food was good. The person that my wife and I thought was the manager (Brandon) said the amount. My wife pays attention to how much stuff cost and she immediately knew something wasn’t right. He said 28.72 I know because I was standing there next to her after she ordered. For chicken combo and a kids meal. She said something about it and he said “it’s higher because it’s at the truck stop.” Then he had an attitude with us about it and took longer to give us our food. This is the second time we had this problem at this location within about 10 days both times Brandon was working the register. The first time we thought maybe we were just tired and didn’t hear him.
Lesson here . Pay attention to how much it cost you might be overpaying and...
Read moreJust because the door says they close at 10pm doesn’t mean you can get food until 10pm or even 9:30pm. I showed up at 9:30pm and was told they were out of beef for hamburgers because they had shutdown the cookers and they didn’t have anymore cooked. Every other fast food place I have been to always serves up to closing. This place was almost shut completely down. The dining room was all blocked off and they were standing around like they were waiting to clock out and go home. If you choose to have a fast food restaurant in a truck stop you need to expect that people will be coming in right up to closing time to get something to eat. Trucks don’t have regular hours and they plan their stops on where they can get food/fuel. Do better...
