I've been coming to this hotel for years. I've even had other people stay here and they loved it as well. My children and I stayed here recently and we had a wonderful experience as well. I've stayed in pretty much every type of room this hotel has to offer. My favorite room is the jacuzzi suite. The pictures attached are of the recent experience with my children and I. This hotel has excellent hospitality, unfortunately due to Covid they don't offer the breakfast and complimentary snacks that they typically offer to the guests, but I have experienced it enough throughout the years to know they go above and beyond to cater to their guests. We were able to have items we needed during our overnight stay and we loved all the amenities offered here. If you need any toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, etc they will provide if you ask. Even though they don't have "room service" per se, they will bring things you need if you request it. The room was separated from the rest of the hotel in its own section on the second floor with a beautiful view both inside and outside of the hotel. I love the extra security provided to the guests that after a certain time you must use a key to enter the hotel or use the phone within the double doors to gain entry, I don't know of any other hotels near this area of Lawrenceville that comes close to how this hotel and it truly is a unique experience that everyone who is traveling or even just wanting a night away that lives in the area or whatever you choose to... just try it. I definitely recommend trying the jacuzzi suite, but the other rooms are just as nice. They offer complimentary coffee, tea, juices, and water in the downstairs lobby. They have a beautiful gazebo in a secluded area in the back. There is also a pool, business center, laundry room, and gym. They offer fast free WiFi. This hotel is true to its name and you will feel at home and the lobby is like being in a lodge with a new fireplace and open ceiling view. The decor is so lovely and the ambience is amazing. I will continue to spread the word to anyone who hears and I hope that you will not just take my word for it, but experience it yourself! This located conveniently in the heart of Lawrenceville and within walking distance of several shopping centers, restaurants, and gas stations. Plenty of things to do around here as well. They offer military discount and AAA members get a...
Read moreI had the most pleasant experience here. The one thing that stood out more than the rooms was the service. Bhumi is the shining star at this hotel. She was friendly, warm and inviting. It comes off completely genuine.
The room: Standard room. We had a king size bed on the first floor. The bed was comfortable, the a/c was kicking no complaints here lol. If you are chilly in nature I would bring an extra blanket or you can just ask for one. The bathroom was spacious. Tv was a great size as well. Everything was clean and neat. My son even checked for bed bugs (nothing, so you’re good).
Complimentary Breakfast: Typically when you hear complimentary you think donuts or bagels. That’s the case here. They had a coffee tea station, cereal station, juice machine, oatmeal, and a waffle maker and more. Of course if you like the bagels and muffins they had those as well. For hot food don’t skip the sausage eggs and potatoes make fresh and refilled often. Not the best but definitely not the worst.
Location: Hotel is located about 10-15 miles from Hwy 85 and about 5 mins from Northside Gwinnett Medical. It’s surrounded by plenty of restaurants as well as stores for shopping such as Publix, Target, Ross, Home Depot, AMC theaters and more. Get location I felt completely safe.
Affordability: I found the room rate to be very resonable. We paid $85 plus tax for the room and of course there was a deposit held for damages of $100. Once you check out if all is well that $100 is returned.
WiFi: They do have complimentary unsecured WiFi. It is mainly your for standard scrolling/emailing/texting. My son had to connect to his hotspot to play his switch but I was fine using the hotels for Instagram.
Bottom line is yes I would 💯...
Read moreI placed a stay for 5 days and called a couple days into my stay to to the front desk to add another day to my stay and I was granted that by the front desk lady and not even a second later the money was taken out of my account. Then the next day I am woken up to knocking on my door and to my surprise housekeeping ask me if I am staying another day and I said yes I am. She then calls the front desk to let them know who then calls me and the general manager who was in this day proceeds to tell me that there is not notice of my stay and I have to go downstairs to pay for another day to stay. I am shocked to hear this cause I am looking at my bank account with the money taken out of it and I am being told to come downstairs to the front desk to pay for a room money has been taken out of. I go downstairs and the general manager proceeds to tell me that yes he then sees that I paid for an extra day and he only knows that’s cause he had to call the desk clerk from the previous night to verify that. I wondered why that couldn’t be cleared up before I was told to go downstairs and have to pay for a room that I already paid for and why weren’t any notes left on my file stating such. Clearly there wasn’t any communication and this was the reason this happened. Also there was a desk clerk that was always on her phone barely at the front desk and would be outside on her phone leaving the desk with no one behind it. Even the day when I checked in I had to wait for her to come from the back area to come and check me in. I’m sure this isn’t the training you guys teach at your establishment. Those things alone are the reasons why I won’t be staying at this hotel again and I will stay at...
