Rv’ers BEWARE: I was here for 10 days spring 2022, decided for the 550$ price it was a good central location for things I wanted to do and friends. Waited for their price increase, sent application, received email confirmation in Aug with 500$ deposit and balance due. Go to check in on Dec 30th and they wanted to jump my price 200$ a month!! Approx 35% increase. Started off on a bad foot for sure. They only take check or cash, probably because cc will honor their contract, and refunded their money and they are sketch not taking cc and making it convenient for a 4 month stay. Every time I had to go pay my rent, there was quite a wait and hassle about my rent due! I am a landlady for 32 years, you don’t take a deposit and application, send invoice/confirmation and raise rent on move in day!!! Not friendly ppl at all in the park. Would go to the pool and it was if I were invisible! I was a stylist for 45 years, I am use to ppl talking to me all the time, wherever I go. I think I had short conversations with 5 people in the 4 months I was there. My lot was cleaner/cleaned of debris only once and I had to request it!! They put in a “work order 😳) guy came and made 3 huge piles with his blower and left them at the end of both sides of my lot until I AGAIN had to go and ask for it to be removed!! Girl in the office said “yeah I saw that” then why was it not taken care of??? Was a shady spot, stuck in between permanent homes! All 3 neighbors said hi the first day and never spoke to me again, one neighbor that I was so close to her home we could pass coffee to each other, spoke to me a few times. My Rv and Jeep were covered/stained from all the debris falling from the trees. Cats roamed about the campsite, peeing everywhere and I am allergic to cats! NO INTERNET, you can pay for cable 😳 No fire pits. Pool: one small pool with 30 lounge chairs and 30 chairs for 936 lots! Loud, obnoxious, off key music played a couple times a week! Never even got in the pool because the clique group of ppl that made a circle at the steps as if you weren’t invited into their little group of snotty ppl. Was absolutely the worst place I have stayed and now their monthly rate is almost 1k a month, this is not an Rv friendly park and definitely not worth their cost! Sirens going off all day, loud road noise. Will not come back again for sure!! A couple hundred $ more and you can stay at brand new campgrounds with fire pits and live entertainment every weekend, with friendly campers, paved lots, 5g Wifi and garbage pick up at your site! They don’t like seasonal...
Read moreShowed up today (04/04/21) to check in, gentleman at the front gate said he didn't have a reservation for us. I had the email with the confirmation number and tried showing it to him...at the little shack they have he had no way of check to verify for my information.
I tried showing him my email and the best he could do was take my information, give us a site and then do an "actual" check in on Monday. Ok, doesn't sound so bad right...wrong! He also told me that when I called to "check-in" they would let me know if I can stay at the site he assigned...or I would have to move. I asked the gentleman that in fact I would have, after being on a site for 2 days, maybe have to break down my campsite and go to another and he said yes!
I told him no way am I gonna risk having to pack my RV up and move to another site...I then said I'd rather find another campground! He said "well, if that's what you want to do"...well, we did just that. Now all I gotta do is call on Monday and pray I get my $50 deposit back.
UPDATE 4/6/21*
I called Monday and talked to Melinda, who was very helpful and apologetic for the confusion about our reservation. She stated I would not have had to move on Monday when I would've called the front office... In fact the sites they give for situations like mine are set aside so a camper wouldn't have to move.
Melinda refunded my deposit and offered a discount for any future reservation I might have with...

They say 98% of people would do the right thing, but the other 2% would not follow the rules. So let's punish the 98% instead. We are a year round paying resident and tried to contact the corporate office. We were told by receptionist that the only thing we could is write a letter. Then she proceeded to tell me that IF they feel like it then they will reach out to me. They refused to give me a name or number of someone to talk to. They offer no discount on lot rent even though they shut everything down. Yet they are still renting to new travelers, saying they are a business after all. Well it's funny they think it's okay to bring new people in and consider themselves an essential service, but yet say they are concerned for the safety of it's residents. There are a lot of businesses that I am sure think they are essential but are shut down. I would not recommend that anyone do business with the Cove corporation until they set things right and show transparency as a corporation instead of hiding behind their corporate walls. I have to say that before the Cove corporation bought this park out that it used to be a great place. Now it has gone they way of corporate greed. It's sad to see...
