OMG!!! Oakwood Smokehouse and BBQ is my absolute favorite BBQ in the world!!! Did I say I love this place cause you will too from the moment you park your car as you walk across the parking lot you can't miss the wafting scent of smoke, get dry rub and "Oakwwod"! Without a doubt, this award winning restaurant has mastered their craft of great smoked BBQ!!! The place is well known, and I say this so you won't go during the winter, dinner rush hour only to find an hour and a half wait before you get to taste what your nose has already decided is the absolute best smoked meat and best southern side dishes in the whole state of Florida!! The place is casual as BBQ should be thr prices a reasonable and the service is fast, efficient, and confident because it's just THAT GOOD. They have little patience with first timers questioning their GREAT reputation (rightfully so too!). The parking lot is a bit small but they do have handicapped parking as well as entrance. The restrooms are handicap accessible too. If you're into taxidermy, you'll love the rustic casual atmosphere of Oakwood...

Okay Sooo we came here July 2nd after my Grandad funeral service in. Bushnell national cemetary it was about 40 of us. Maybe a lil more We walked in..They sat us down.im like um one waiter not gonna be enough for all us?? she needs helps..um..Man listen girlfriend handled the dam thing. We were difficult with the drink order.She comes out.with allll the drinks had the order correct..We order..now here it goes.picky familyof mine asking questions.dont know what they want ( but hey we never been here so its normal) how bout they come out with allllllll our food almost the same time.FOOD WAS FRESH AS HELL!!..Everyone food look awesome and i didnt hear not one bad compliment..when i tell you sister girl handle us great with no sigb9 of frustration or attitudes..Now you're gonna ask.well what was good..MAN Order it all..I went sampling off everbody plate that had seafood!!!..when we left dam near the whole staff gave their condolences.I work for a funeral home myself.and when we come to florida national cemetary best believe im coming to...

This food was absolutely scrumptious!!! It was served very quickly and was piping hot! The smoked flavor of my smoked chicken breast and wing was superb!! Our waiter told us that all the smoking is done in-house. My bestie's ribs were super tender, falling off the bone. Her baked sweet potato was baked to soft, sweet perfection. My green beans and black-eyed peas were very tender, seasoned perfectly, and tasted like Mama's home cookin'! The grilled garlic Texas toast was very tasty, too!!

The staff members were all very kind, helpful, and solicitous. The hostess held the door open while I slowly limped my way into the restaurant with my newly-installed leg boot. She gave us a table near the entrance, so I wouldn't have to go far. Our waiter, Jacob, was very kind, very helpful, gave great recommendations, and was very accommodating of all our requests. You'll be well taken care of if you ask for Jacob.
