
Just attended this fair. It was my first time ever going to a state fair. I went with a dozen people and a blast! One of my friends spent $50 and won two stuffed animals that will be lost within about a week. We went to see a concert one day and then a rodeo the next. It was a great time! There were carnival rides, food stands, alcohol trailers, farm animals and some exotics, pop up shops, and people from all over. There is plenty of parking, handicap accommodations, bathrooms, and space for campers and travel trailers looking to stay for the week. It gets rowdy at night...and definitely a younger, busy crowd. Read moreThis is an okay place to stay for a night or two! The sites are not numbered like you would expect so it's difficult to determine which site you're actually in. The water connection was almost 60ft away and kind of communal, the electric hookups are also communal with one panel serving four sites the sewer caps are difficult to remove because they are slip on PVC caps. Wifi while available is almost useless constantly resetting the connection and very weak! Sites are grass with gravel roads and prepare to be the only ones in the campground (not necessarily bad).
