Cornerstone IGA — Local services in Lewisburg

I personally love how this is a smaller, I believe locally owned, grocers store. I juice every morning and have some dietary need where I'm able to find affordable fresh vegetables and fruits here. Every associate has been helpful and friendly. I also like the price point on either brand name or "off brand" household supplies and deals they have that are relatively much lower than sale prices at a bix box grocers. The store is well laid out, clean and organized. I'm happy I've found this place and have been in several times now to shop. Also, to me, there's more handicap parking spots available ♿ and offered here, close to the entrance compared to any other local store for groceries, which makes my shopping when I am able to go easier 😄 I just simply love the smaller store with friendly faces and they have organic selections as well. The prices on meat is favorable to me as well for the kid and I. There's fresh premade food too, like the chef salads that I'll get when I'm unable to...

The store is very shady and the workers constantly walking around me making funny faces and laughing at me at random periods during my shopping experience. This also was not the first time I have shopped there and have received this kind of treatment. My worst experience was one evening I went in to buy their canned vegetable's since none of the other stores carried what I needed and the guy at the register suggested that I'd advance him a $20 loan. I lied to him and said I didn't have the money. Anyway he checked me out and almost refused to give me my receipt but once he gave it to me I said take care and he had an ugly tone in his voice saying "you too and I would not have spent $20 on that" as if it was his business to know why I purchased these vegetables for my dinner. Long story short don't shop there unless your ready to deal with the workers...

The owner said to me when I caught him investigating my vehicle one day… “what the hell are you doing here” ? Well it absolutely floored me! I asked him why would you asked me something like that? How rude! Then I saw what he was looking at! I had a tiny BLM sticker shaped like a Zebra 🦓 omg! I was born and raised here, moved away came back to this?
