Amazing hotel, restaurant and bar. We stayed for a Husker game. This hotel was reasonably priced (not the most expensive, not the cheapest) so we stayed. First they offer a shuttle service to the stadium. It does bring people back but scheduling a pick up location we were told is a little tricky so we walked back. It's just over a mile along a well lit path to surrounding parking lots and the Devaney center. The room has modern amenities like USB and USB-C ports in the outlets (no need to remember your brick). There are even outlets in the desk. The room has a Vertuo coffee bar (made by Nespresso) and mini fridge. It comes with a clothes steamer and a safe in the closet. We stayed in a king bed room with a view of downtown. The bathroom again is a modern setup with lighted mirror and luxurious large shower (no tub). There is not a mini split a/c in the room like many hotels, so this room has a thermostat on the wall which we never had to adjust as it was set before we arrived at a very comfortable temperature. The bed was extremely comfortable with a perfect assortment of pillows ranging from firm to squishy. It comes with a club chair so lounging in the room doesn't have to be done in bed the whole time. Service was fast and friendly. There is a coffee shop with ice cream and also has grab and go items (including alcohol just in case you want a drink after the game and the rooftop bar is closed). The main floor restaurant has a full bar and menu (though when we stayed only a limited menu for food). The gourmet runza was delicious but the Good Burger was incredible. Served with fresh sliced potato chips it paired nicely with the flight of Nebraska craft beers. My wife had a new take on a Moscow Mule and she loved it. The roof top bar was nice with an outdoor balcony (not much to say as we only stopped by for a glimpse before headed to the game). The rooftop bar does close at 11 so no late night parties there. Additionally, the rooms are silent: no noise from traffic, trains or other patrons (trains pass often and I did not hear any of them and being out of downtown city noise is nothing). This place was perfect for a couple spending their first weekend away from their 6 children in almost 10 years. The only draw back was the 20/22 dollar parking fee per day. 20 was to self park and 22 was for valet with unlimited times they would get your car. So while it was an unexpected expense, it was really nice to not have to deal with the car. I will stay here again and again. It was an amazing experience.

I stayed here for three nights for work. I really enjoyed my stay. I will, of course, complain about things here, but any downsides were minor, particularly compared to how wonderful every single person I encountered working here was.

I interacted with three different valets and they were all friendly and efficient and when they asked how my day had been, they seemed to truly care; like it wasn’t just a “we’re required to ask so we will” thing.

The front desk agent who checked me in and helped me the following evenings was great. Super responsive and helpful. When I asked for a toothbrush and later a blanket it was provided (or sent up) right away. She also was able to give me info on the portrait drawings they have hanging in the lobby. It’s mostly important sports coaches of the university, and Warren Buffet (the only one I kind of recognized).

The wait staff at the restaurant and the downstairs bar were also friendly and helpful. The housekeepers were as well. And each morning on my way out everyone I walked past said good morning and was friendly.

The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. The pillows left a little to be desired. I think all four were the same level of firmness. I had some trouble with the brightness level at night. I wish the curtains had been blackout. The lights from the parking lot and whatever the building behind the hotel was was visible through the curtains. There was also light coming from under the door. I ended up putting my shoes in front of it and that helped block the light.

Of a “it’s me, not you” note: I usually sleep cold and was absolutely frozen the first night, even after turning off the air conditioner. I should have asked for an extra blanket that night because once I did they brought up a fantastic comforter right away and I slept so much better after that.

I didn’t care for the parking situation. Self park was $20 per day and valet was $22 per day. I normally prefer to park my own car, but the lot I was directed to was odd - off to the side and pretty much completely empty. And I think the signs said you had to use an app to pay. So I decided saving two dollars wasn’t worth it and went back around and used valet. I imagine during the school year there would be more cars around and parking would be at more of a premium, but for my trip it seemed silly to charge so much for self parking.

All that aside, I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming...

A lot of hotels these days pride themselves on personal service and attention to detail. If you’re a traveler that values either of the above, this hotel is to be avoided at all costs.

Unfortunately, my father was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer in August. His favorite team is the Nebraska Cornhuskers so wanted to take him to a game in Lincoln and make the trip extra special since tomorrow is never guaranteed. After checking out several different hotel options, decided on this hotel based on proximity to Memorial Stadium and it being a newer hotel. I contacted the hotel in advance just to let them know the circumstances of our visit, never asking for anything, but hoping maybe they’d acknowledge how & why we chose them as our destination for such an important weekend. Their response: crickets. Guess that should have been the first sign of things to come…..

Got into Lincoln admittedly very early and communicated to the front desk that we were just dropping by and, despite the couple ahead of us being checked in and given room keys, we were advised our rooms were “in the process of being cleaned.” No worries on that so we made our way to the game. About 5 hours later from that initial front desk visit, got a notification that our room was ready. When we eventually made it back to the hotel, the front desk was quiet and staffed with two different gentlemen. We got our keys for 2 adjoining rooms (which were never asked for or desired) on the 4th floor & headed up. Were surprised by our two tiny rooms looking over the parking lot of the business next door. Disappointed, reached out to the front desk that confirmed there were actually several rooms with a campus view (that were requested in advance so as to avoid this entire situation) available. No apology, no acknowledgment, just a statement that they had those rooms suddenly and we could move if we so desired.

All those things notwithstanding, tiny room with tiny bathroom. Thermostat only lowers to 67 degrees which is frankly hilarious for a new building.

At the end of the day, this is an egregiously overpriced Moxy hotel with even less service or oversight. Would just not ever be back, want to make sure no else ever has to experience such disregard & disrespect again in the future. Avoid...
