This place is clean and the staff is pleasant, but that aside I have nothing nice to say about the place. Sign on the door says elevator is out of order until 9/30/24, it’s been down since 9/27/24, but I’ve been here every day since and no one has even been working on it. We are on the top floor & our keycard has to be reset every other time we use it. Literally. Haven’t had it near any electronics or anything, we’ve been extremely careful not to place it anywhere close to electronics, after the card needing reset 4 times in the same day, yet to no avail. Multiple times a day, after hiking up to the top floor, the card is reset and we have to hike back down to the ground floor and back up to the top floor again to even gain access to our room. It’s extremely inconvenient & even more frustrating…

I have attempted to get a hot or even lukewarm cup of coffee out of the lobby 7 different times. The coffee has been ice cold every time. Just now, at not even 7am, several of us having breakfast downstairs and opposed to the typical cold coffee, there simply was no coffee. Dining room full of people trying to drink coffee before leaving for work…. I’ve never seen more than a single employee here, outside of the housekeeping staff, but while the coffee carafes sit bone dry, there are 3 employees, all of which were wondering around aimlessly or sitting at the desk on their phones. everyone there was nice BUT the general manager. i had a good time at this place even though the room i had smelt like feet and was disgusting. i stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, my boyfriend went outside and smoked cigarettes the entire time we were there and she tried to say smoke was coming out of our room, and that it smelt like marijuana. there were a ton of teens there, running up and down the halls, banging on our door. a bunch of stuff happened. i loved the staff, but the general manager is a word i cant say. i’ve called corporate on her multiple times because she at first when i called stated that they had thought my boyfriend and i were staying an extra two nights so we were charged for that, told me to call back an hour later, i called back an hour later and then she switched up saying that we were being charged a smoking fee? if there was smoke coming out of the room then why weren’t the alarms going off? why was nobody freaking out about it? not one person had an issue with us besides her. she’s lost 4 customers now all because she wanted an extra $235. we will be doing a chargeback with our bank, i’m a christian and WOULD NEVER put myself into a stupid situation and be charged $235 to smoke in a room. we went outside every single time. don’t come here unless you want to spend twice as much on a hotel room because the general manager is...

I arrived with a reservation and with on-line pre-registration completed. I waited 20 minutes while one desk agent tried to figure out how to accept a guest without a reservation paying cash. The other desk agent was goofing off behind the desk, not helping the growing line of patrons waiting to check in. When it was finally my turn, the desk agent asked for the EXACT SAME Information i had already provided for pre-registration online. What a waste of time. Then I get the key and go to the room. I open the door to discover that the heat is blasting, the room was 110 degrees, and the beds are disassembled with nasty mattresses propped up vertically. I immediately returned to the desk but had to WAIT IN LINE AGAIN. ||I picked up the manager's business card in the lobby. But it was not the mgr that answered. It was the other desk agent that was goofing off. The email address on my receipt was not a valid email.||The worker goofing off told the other one that “we had a car” and we could leave and go somewhere else and she should not sweat her incompetence or lack of...

So we brought the kids up here during spring break and they had a blast! The pool was great and probably where they spent the most time! Every day the staff had breakfast smelling great and tasting great, thank goodness that was one meal a day we had for free and saved us money for fun things. Speaking of saving money, we spent under $90 a night, so if you're looking for a bargain you'll find it here, plus the rooms are clean and spacious, and the beds are super comfy. The staff was great, even went out of there way to make sure everyone (especially) the kids were happy and that means more than anything else. We've been to hotels that treat the kids like they're a thorn, so this place and the staff were exceptional. Carolyn the manager and her daughter were fantastic and deserve a HUGE Thank you from us! I recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget, with kids, pets, you're going to be glad you stopped in!

Owner & Staff charge card on file multiple times for same stay. When questioned regarding the additional charge, they become defensive and call for POLICE to remove from property. Owner's daughter self-admittedly while on line with dispatch advises they "should know how to spell her name by now I call you all the time...". Having a young child witness this level of immaturity and righteousness is disgusting. Staff only takes a card on file when & if "they feel they will have damage to their room". When asked for clarification, owners daughter states "you know....when people seem like they are high or on something....or look like they might not pay..." Well that is the pure definition of prejudice and discrimination. The level of transparency there is disheartening.

So we brought the kids up here during spring break and they had a blast! The pool was great and probably where they spent the most time! Every day the staff had breakfast smelling great and tasting great, thank goodness that was one meal a day we had for free and saved us money for fun things. Speaking of saving money, we spent under $90 a night, so if you're looking for a bargain you'll find it here, plus the rooms are clean and spacious, and the beds are super comfy. The staff was great, even went out of there way to make sure everyone (especially) the kids were happy and that means more than anything else. We've been to hotels that treat the kids like they're a thorn, so this place and the staff were exceptional. Carolyn the manager and her daughter were fantastic and deserve a HUGE Thank you from us! I recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget, with kids, pets, you're going to be glad you stopped in!
