Diamond Inn Motel — Hotel in Los Angeles

Rooms were basic, and decor was what you would expect from a typical seedy motel. Very basic. Far from anything fancy or unique, but not terrible or down right disgusting. The jacuzzi tub is pretty small, and the hot water ran out repeatedly, and fairly quickly. Wasn't the worst thing that could happen, but left much to be desired - and I didn't come expecting very much.

It's best to know what kind of vibe you're seeking- when it comes to the boulevard, this motel is quieter, less foot traffic and typically more low key than many of the others. However, it is not immune to shady characters or cops driving through the parking lot looking to harass any patron that might be caught going to their car, or smoking a cigarette.

If you're looking for a party motel, there are better options on the boulevard, most notably one of the Diamonds neighboring motels. However, if you're looking for a more low key, quiet motel this is more along those lines.

Dear God, the room was just horrid.

The heater was running full blast. It was 95° today. It took forever to cool down to a comfortable temp. The room was so filthy, I didn't want to touch anything. I hesitated even taking my shoes off..definitely kept my socks on. Goo & dirt on every surface. The edge around the tub had dirty shoe prints, the sink had globs of toothpaste, dirt and hair was all over the countertop. NO towels - not a single bath, hand or washcloth. 1-ply toilet paper, so no way to dry hands. I ended up just using hand sanitizer. I didn't even want to take a shower.

I could go on, but it's not worth my time. I would NOT RECOMMEND...

Not that bad, yes it’s in a rough neighborhood that means don’t go out at night. This is on a harlot street but the manger here does not play that, she’s strict and don’t allow any baloney in her hotel, the room was clean everything was clean, and believe me I’m very picky when it come to how clean a room is. the shower head could improve and the shower curtain, the room comes with a mirror on top of your bed and on the side, so you can say my Boyfriend and I had a steamy night 😈, other than that yes it’s not the Ritz, or the double tree, but you are safe, so if your picky and a delicate Betch, go find your itch somewhere else,
