Hotels seem to exist providing less and less ""Quality"" services while they keep raking in our money
1).Bathroom flooded bad yet there is no address from Q ( over the phone with me ONLY for bathroom flood) except move to another room for flooded bathroom. Yet I cannot climb into a tub with joint fused knees so moving to a tub room is not an option I accepted to stay and sop the water up with all of the towels/This was @ 10 pm/I SPOKE WITH Q OVER THE PHONE/ NOT MY HUSBAND. 2). FAST FORWARD after lying down in a room with 2 beds/due to 2 separate machines/equipment for breathing...... Approx ...2.30 am....... way later. The timing of conversations/ issues in details have been entered into their records/ false/ twisted and construed to fit the defence and or benefits of the hotel/staff .....not the truth for the presence of bugs/injuries/and or the client experiences.
My husband awoke to bites occurring on his body. Upon inspection. Many bugs were found/ reported/ shown in person to clerk Q.
Immediate response from Q for the bug issue was "speak to the manager in the morning. (NOT)))) WE WILL MOVE YOU TO ANOTHER ROOM)
YET IF THERE IS BUGS ON A BED/ LINEN IN ONE ROOM THE HOTEL HAS AN INFESTATION FOR WHATEVER ROOM) so why move room to room? We don't have bugs at home or on our person and or property.
Now we have to delouse all of our property before we pack up/ BEFORE WE CHECK OUT. We should of left the motel not change to a room yet being disabled we cannot drive at night. We removed all of ourselves/ property to the one bed. No sleep tonight. We stayed up taking turns/ vigilant for more signs of more bugs/ to avoid bites. We were treated as if there are no bugs. We were treated as if the bugs we showed to Q and staff was not real. We were treated as if the injury to my husband wasn't real. The pictures and video prove the injuries/ bugs are real and do exist.
The hotel cannot deny one bug issue in one room shows the very real possibility there is a bug issue everywhere as it relates to a hotel/ bed/ linens. Bugs aren't specific nor care which or any room/ mattress/linen they travel/ live and or roost in.
Q spoke with my husband only for the bugs / bug bite issue only in person (WHO NEVER OFFERED ANY MOVE) yet entered the false documentation into the computer in an effort to defend themselves. There is no accountability from Quality Inn so as to keep the ability of the status quo/ lies that they don't have bugs and keep raking in the money from unsuspecting guests. We had to pay for the bugs. We had to pay for the bites. We had to pay for the false documentation and the poor treatment toward us/ denial of truth from staff. Truth trump's any denials. We will share/report our experiences since we had to pay for and get the shaft for our very real experiences with injuries/ bugs on bed and linen at Quality Inn@Magnolia Ar. Bad business...
Read moreIf I could give it negative stars I would. When we tried to check in, first the last ignored us for her cell phone conversation for 10 minutes. Checked in, found out the handicap room we reserved and paid extra for wasn't available. Ever tried to walk up 2 flights of strais with a broken leg? Not fun. The girl at the desk her response was essentially "oh well!! Even though you paid for that room type if I move you to the first floor we will have to charge you more" 30 minutes later i get to my room and the key doesn't work. So i have to go back downstairs. 2 flights of stairs to correct it she reset the key and I go back upstairs. The second key still doesn't work. Turns out, the room was in a maintenance block. So back down again. This time she moves us to room 206, which is opposite of the room/bed type easier for but at this point it's after 1 am and am beat. Room 206, smoke alarm batteries are going off. I needed sleep. Now I go to the office a 4th time. This time with hotwire on the phone, who remind receptionist about contract and guaranteed rooms. Ironically they suddenly had a handicap room in the first...
Read moreOvernight stop on motorcycle trip with the girls. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms were basic and clean. The only draw back is what looks like "permanent" tenant/guest in some of the adjoining rooms. They were cooking outside the rooms which is not a big deal, but mainly feeling uncomfortable with the men watching us going back and forth. We left for dinner but felt uneasy leaving our room. In the morning they were still hanging around and a couple were just sitting around on the steps watching us load our luggage. They were not rude or anything, but just an uncomfortable feeling to being watched. The little downtown area is quaint, we did not have time to explore but it looked very inviting. We had lunch at a greasy spoon next to the hotel called Mr James, it was okay for something quick and we had a nice Dinner at the Italian restaurant across the street named Joe's. Overall except for the loitering guests at the hotel, I would only stay here if I could not find another hotel for similar rate and just be cautious of your belongings.
Leary of the other...
