Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Magnolia

Very disappointed with our last visit. Came from Camden on the motorcycle. Was told at counter that I had to have a mask to sit at tables inside, but could stand at counter face to face and order take out without a mask. There was not a single other human being in the store, other than staff and they were all wearing masks. As they have no outside seating and we didn't have masks, we left and went to Sonic. It's apparently safe at dairy Queen to stand face to face and order, then wait and carry out without a mask. But not to do the same thing without wearing a mask for the time it takes to walk from the counter to a table in another room 40-50 feet away from anyone, as you have to remove your mask to eat anyway. I realize they are worried about Covid-19, but literally, only difference between two was wearing mask from counter to table! There has to be some common sense applied at some point! This was the most disheartening experience at a Dairy Queen establishment of all of my visits… I was in town April 1st through April 6th in Magnolia. Not to many choices to dine let alone that’s open after a certain hour . I drove from the hotel where i was staying across the parking lot on April 3rd Thursday . When i arrived at the menu bored i was advised the restaurant was no longer serving food .. The time was 8:37 pm exactly. I then asked the young lady why wasn’t food being served if the store did not close until 9 pm as stated online and posted on window front. Not only was i turned away but two cars ahead of me drove off which i had no idea why until i reached the menu… and there were also 4 other cars behind me. This showed subordination , no integrity and mostly laziness. This should be addressed instantly. Store closes at 9 but staff closes 30 minutes early or...

This is an insanely good DQ. I work nearby and this is my go-to place when I'm in a hurry, and they have never once gotten my order wrong. What's more, if their drive thru gets backed up, they always COME OUTSIDE AND TAKE YOUR ORDER AT YOUR CAR. Who else do you know that will do this?? The service is superb, the food is always hot and delicious, and you get your food fast. By the way, this place has the best fries I've ever had in my life. By FAR. They are always hot, seasoned perfectly, and crispy. They are the perfect fries. That's a reason by itself to come and eat here. Their prices are steep compared to other fast food offerings in town, but they more than make up for it in service and quality. I can't say enough good things about this place.
