As a constant-travelling, youth and marginalized-peoples minister for God, I can say with some authority that having a nice warm bed to sleep in everynight is a luxury NOT a god given right. On April 7, 2025, aftee receiving virtual notice that one of my follower/contributors was donating $250 to my registered non-profit. Using Travrlocity, I found the "Springhill Suites" near the Manch-Boston Airport. While expecting the mere basics, I was blown away by the cleanliness of the facility but more importsntly...the staff was nicer to me than my own fsmily has ever attempted. I tend to be....."ALOT". Well bless them and a bag of chips it was borderlune toooo much service! Not kiddn. I met the most wonderful night auditor in Ms. Carol. My apologies after the fact...she listened to me practice my childrens sermons in the lobby...at regular voice...in the dark .....for TWO HOURS. She never said "Boo". Unless you include her interrupting me every 30 minutes to ask me... "Sweetie, if you're gonna work nights, you need to learn to drink FRESH coffee. My path with God snd vow of chaste I took 15 yrs ago has kept me awsy from alcohol, caffeine, to keep my body pure. Nevermind- I had 3 cupd before brkfast( thsnkyou Alisia) and hsve NOT been that productive for 10 years. It was worth a lil tumble from Grace. I had best time with her and the rest of staff. I admit Im a bit weird. I asked the morning manager!(forgotnamesorry), could I play a game with her. She said, Im super busy but sure." GO FOR IT". I pulled luggage cart into lobby..sat down like I was ridin in A Royal Carriage. I waved the queens-wave snd asked yhe staff: "WHO AM I? No one got it. Snswer: Im theQueen at Charles confirmation/coronation. No one lsughed...itneeds work. Lol. All in all hotrel nice( pool shld be 90deg?), but what will bring m we back is the family I never knew I had. My own fsmily...ma, da, siblings and 4 of my own offspring gave up on me snd basically abasndoned me over the past 10 yrs. SHS snd their team IS my new FSMILY...if they'll have me of course. Thsnks sgsin ya'll. Love you/miss you already( I chked out 5 hrs ago.lol). Like I said...I tend to be...ALOT! AHO. AHO. AHO Oh yea...Im 23% Lakota and 16% Blackfoot native Americsn. I hsve recurve bow and arrows...
Read moreWe frequent the Springhill Suites in Manchester quite often; every other week. We live in Pittsburg and are 3 hrs away, my husband has O.T. 2 hr appts for his MYO Electric robotic transhumeral arm every other week; were here a LOT and if we are traveling somewhere, the airport is right next door, convenience is key. Their rates are very reasonable and you earn free night stays. The rooms are always very clean and if an issue (our AC unit sounded bad when the air compressor kicked in and was very loud) they were quick to move us to another room. If an issue, always let the front desk know, issues don't repair themselves, if you don't say anything, they won't know, they're not sleeping in the room you have, so be kind and let them know. It's not a 2024 built hotel, it's not brand new anymore, things happen.
The beds are super comfy, pillows are huggable and if you are a pillow hugger then there's an extra in the closet and if you're a pillow freak, call the front desk, they'll be happy to oblige.
This trip I found some fun stuff done in our room upon entering it, room 112, checked in May 28, 2024, whoever cleaned this room nailed it; the toilet paper and tissues were folded in a point, I do this at home, also the shower curtain was draped over the tub cute and left a simple but nice touch; I noticed IMMEDIATELY. The person that changed over this room before us is someone I'd have cleaning my own home; I'm OCD and picky, this person took care in pleasing the next guest.
They serve a Continental Breakfast, it's not something we take advantage of but most like this little jump start in the morning. We took a peak, smelled and looked good.
So if you want a nice, comfortable, convenient, cozy stay, Springhill Suites in Manchester NH is your go to. Did I mention the average cost for a king suite is $125.00 a...
Read moreThis was a nightmare. When we checked in, there was hair in the bathtub, cobwebs by the smoke detector and dust bunnies galore. We cleaned some unidentifiable stain off the night stand ( praying it was milk) with antibacterial wipes we brought with us. It was chilly in the room, and the heat was off. A call from the front desk let us know that we couldn’t switch rooms because the hotel was fully booked, but we could have an extra blanket. After looking around, we found that the service disconnect switch for the heat/ac was turned off. Turned it on. Yay ! Heat ! Found out why it was turned off the next night . So we get into bed. Well, at least we each had our own individual valleys in the mattress to settle into. Not comfortable at all. Then, apparently the flapper valve in the toilet was going bad. This meant that the toilet tank slowly draining and refilling all night, until I couldn’t take it and shut the valve off to the toilet tank. This meant that every time we had to use the toilet we had to turn the valve on to refill the tank in order to flush. Fun ! So, the next night we found out why the heat was turned off. At about 1 am the thermostat decided to switch from heat mode to cooling (AC). This caused the compressor in the unit to turn on, making the most god awful noise. So, our choice was: sleep in a cold room, nestled into our respective furrows in the mattress, or not sleep at all. This was room 333 in case you were wondering. But hey, at least the manager and staff were friendly, and the...
