Went to Rounders for the first time last night and I instantly had good thoughts about the place. But then I stood at an opening in the bar for about 5 awkward minutes looking at the tap line waiting for the bartender to ask what I wanted. But oddly she kept walking past. The people adjacent to this area, who were sitting at the bar, were looking at me to see what I was doing because I had been there so long. I gave up on getting a beer and just went and grabbed a table, where I sat for another ten minutes until a waitress arrived. Started to tell her what I wanted and she started walking away. Fast forward 5 minutes and she brings my a beer, but it wasn't a Blue Moon with orange, it was a dark beer that I didn't really care for. She didn't come back for 10 minutes longer and my friend asked her if she could bring the orange slice and she says, "orange in a Boom Sauce? Ugh, no wonder I didn't like it, lol. A few minutes later she brought the correct beer with the orange and I was happy.
The nachos were okay, but not great. I love a bit of lettuce and tomato on top of my nachos, but this was almost more of a taco salad in appearance, with 25% of the nachos being lettuce and tomato versus the chips, cheese and chili that the dish is known for.
I'll go again and try some different things on their menu and see if the service is better. But for now, this...
Read moreWhat a great place. I would highly recommend this establishment. I am in sales and I travel all over for work. I happen to frequent many bars / pubs 😬. I was here on business away from family and there are many very friendly locals here that made me feel at home. The night I was here there happen to be a Bruins game on and the bar area was full. Even so, for the three hours I was there the bartender did not miss a beat. She was very friendly and did not seem overwhelmed in situations when most bartenders would. When I looked at the menu I was thinking the prices were reasonable. After looking over the many choices I decided to go with the Teriyaki steak tips. Do yourself a favor and order these! I ordered mine medium with mashed. It came with a full plate salad before hand. The steak tips and mashed potatoes were amazing and more than enough to fill me up. I couldn’t finish my meal which is very unusual. Looking back after eating my meal the prices seem too reasonable for the amount of food and quality you get. This is not your average pub with your average pub food. I ate and drank at this establishment both nights I was in the area and I have absolutely...
Read moreThis is a cute little bar very close to the Manchester Airport. I think there are a lot of regulars as the bar itself was fairly crowded but there were plenty of seats in the restaurant section. Almost all of the tables are high tops which I found a little uncomfortable. I have to say that we tried this place because of a lot of the Google reviews that talked about great happy hour specials, including $5 beer pitchers. We went at 4:00 p.m. and were told they have no happy hour specials but they do have mini pitchers of beer which were the equivalent of two pints. However those were $11 each not $5. There were no food specials for happy hour. There was one server who was working the entire restaurant including the bar so she was a little rushed but extremely friendly and it made up for the wait. The food was good and the french fries were very hot which I find to be a big plus. Overall it was a nice stop and we enjoyed the evening but we're a little disappointed in that it was not the value that we...
