Relax Inn — Hotel in Marlin

This is a very dirty and unkept motel. I switched rooms multiple times in one night. The First room has a window unit was that set to heat and the room had a burning and musty smell. It was hard to breathe while in the room, so we had to switch. It may have carbon monoxide issues. The second room was filled with crickets outside the room, inside the room and inside of beds. This room - room 215 had bed bugs, house flies that kept attacking me and spiders in the room and beds. I kept on waking up to flies on my face and arms and being bitten by invisible bugs. This is after in covered my whole body with bug spray. And I found a cricket in my sheets. Also brown eggs on the sheets and inside the threads of the comforter. The sheets were also stained, had what looked like vomit in the base sheets on the side of the bed. The toilet kept flushing itself. The bathroom was missing tiles on the floor. When changing my clothes before switching to another room, an insect leg fell out of my clothes. The third room had spiders in the bed, tape inside the comforters, hair and stains on the bed. It looked like it had urine on a corner of the bed. The room phones, we had to fix before we could even call the hotel management. The cable does not work either. The property is grossly...

This is a one night only hotel..Paid $50.40 for room-122...No ice machine working outside or in the lobby area..No breakfast but coffee in your room..Outdoor snack machine not working non inside lobby either..Outdoor parking good with room for big trucks but you can not drive around the hotel..Location is good right off Hwy-6 at bottom of exit ramp..No other hotels in the area except Best western..There is a small walmart down the road a mile away..No fast food near by..Microwave with refrigerator..40" Flat-TV..New heater and AC-unit..Queen bed it was alright but needs more pillows..Dresser and small table 2 chairs....Hair dryer worked...I did see washer and dryer in another area condition unknown...The room was clean and so was the bed......This place needs to put a small freezer in the lobby with bags of ice for customers...Also needs to have pop and snack machines in the lobby area..Or at least sell pop out of a refrigerator..Sell frozen dinners and...

The Relax Inn have proven to be the WORST hotel experience I have ever endured. The customer service has been extremely rude and unappreciated by myself! The accommodations are deplorable to say the least ...from bugs to trash (including personal garments) left by previous guests and not cleaned before I arrived ...as well as poor plumbing, leaking toilets, ripped shower curtains, poor bed and bedding and poor air conditioning . I could go on and on . I would highly suggest that IF you attempt to stay at a Relax Inn for you to ask to inspect the room first! Horrible experience and horrible...
