I am a Ford customer but not Apple Sport Service Department anymore!. Horrible customer service from âRANDYâ I think heâs the service manager (donât know his last name) went with two recall letters for the same recall parts, one letter was from Ford and another was from Mercury (my car is a Mercury Milan) and he was so negative and told me it will take a long time to get the parts in just leave my car and he will try to get them. There was a service department employee (donât recall his name) sitting by Randy and at first Randy looked at his Computer screen and said I had already had my recall serviced. I said yes, but both of these letters state that this is a second recall on the same original recall, this recall was on brake malfunction and I wanted it fixed, I mean that can be a life or death repair. The employee sitting beside Rude Randy pointed out that yes Randy here it is pointing at the computer screen, we have replaced the recall but this says (on Randy computer) exactly watch sheâs saying that itâs a second recall on the same part. I am 70 years old and this complaint doesnât tell all of what that Service manager said and his attitude toward me and told me it could be months to get the parts, youâll have to leave your car here and weâll call you. His rudeness and tell me to leave my car for possibly months just broke me down into tears. I decided to take my car and go to BIRD KULTGEN FORD and they were so receptive and read my two letters and set me an appointment for them to repair it the next day. I have done years of Business with Apple Sport Chevrolet and they are as welcoming and friendly has Bird KULTGEN Ford is. I am a Ford Mustang Lover since they were introduced in the 60âs or what ever year it was and have owned â 4 mustangs, 2 Broncos and a Taurus and more Fords this is the first time I have owned a Chevrolet and doing business at the Apple Sport Chevrolet dealership that has a great, efficient and friendly Service depart Manager and Service department employees. My next SUV will be bought at Apple Sport Chevrolet for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!â and have been having my Mercury Milan oil changed at Bird KULTGEN Ford which is in Waco way further drive than Apple Sport Ford in Marlin, will never have anything to do with yaâll ever. Juan Martinez greeted us when we got there and was very friendly and accommodating. I had a thousand questions and Juan, knowledgeably answered them all! We also looked at another Smaller SUV, which helped us to make a final decision on the Escape! Juan worked for me, negotiating with the finance manager for the price I needed, so I could accept and say yes to finalizing the great purchase I made for my lovely new Ford Escape SUV!
I absolutely love my new Ford Escape! I love the way it drives! I love the way it feels! I love the way it sounds! I love the way it smells! And I love the way that my new Ford Escape loves me!
Since then Juan has followed up with me several times. And I am happy to go out to Apple Ford in Marlin, to get one on one training from Juan on how to knowledgeably function using the Ford Pass features, in particular the wifi feature for the internet. This will be fantastic as we are moving out to a remote area in Lampasas, where we are seeking to operate out there, off-the-grid!
We liked Juan immediately, a young fella, showing us extreme respect and that he too liked us! That made me feel like I could trust him, and not worry that he might try to pull one over on me!
I felt like Juanâs knowledge of literally everything I asked him, about the Escape made me think how incredibly professional he was! I tell you what, we really liked that kid!    Read moreYouâd think if you go in wanting to purchase 2, yes 2 brand new vehicles someone would want to help you. Guess they donât want my business and I will gladly take it elsewhere. Went in a month ago just looking and actually had a good experience. This last time in, not so much. Asked for numbers to be worked up for 2 brand new vehicles, stated I had money to put down and would also be trading in our vehicle. Salesman said ok, mind if I take it over for an appraisal, I said not a problem. He asked for the payoff on my vehicle and I said I can request the quote. He then comes back 15 minutes later and I asked If he got it appraised and he said yes, I asked for the number he was given and then he told me, oh they have to put it in the system. I said ok. He asked if i had gotten payoff on mine and I said yes, then gave it to him. He then ask for my social and I told him i wasnât looking for my credit to be shotgunned I just wanted my numbers worked up like I asked to see if itâs within the payment range weâre trying to get to and how much we would need to put down to get there and we were willing to make that happen that day if we could get the payments close. He walks off then comes back 10 minutes later and says weâre gonna have to wait till Monday to get your number cause the appraiser was already gone for the evening...yet he just told me he got it appraised. So he essentially lied straight to my face. Excellent customer service đ so I then call back Monday and explained to another salesman of my experience and asked that he assist me going forward and he said sure not a problem Iâll get your numbers worked up and give you a call or an email. That was 2 weeks ago and still havenât heard anything. So I will gladly go buy my 2018 F-250 Lariat and 2018 Explorer limited...
