After weeks of searching for a new vehicle both online and at dealerships, I found a vehicle advertised on the Apple-Sport Chevrolet website that interested me. I began communicating with Rob. Rob treated me with great respect and kindness. I spoke to Rob several times about the price of the vehicle and he CLEARLY communicated with me the price that I would be paying. A Buyer's Order was sent to me as part of the financing process. The price of the vehicle was more than expected. Rob ASSURED me that it was the tax, title, and license fee and that I would only be paying the amount agreed upon for the vehicle. He stated that the Buyer's Order can be confusing. I TRUSTED that I would be paying the amount agreed upon. When my husband and I went to purchase the vehicle, we were kindly greeted by Rob and he informed us he had to leave for an emergency situation but we would be left in good hands with another salesman. When the paperwork was printed, an extra $695 was added to the price of the vehicle. We asked to speak to someone concerning the charge. A salesman by the name of Mark explained that wheel locks had been installed and nitrogen placed in the tires. The $695 was never discussed prior to the printing of the paperwork. Mark made the comment that we were getting a very good price for the vehicle and he couldn't let too many more go at that price, yet we paid $695 more than the ADVERTISED price online. Mark's tone and comment made me feel as if I was bickering over a measly $695 and that I was "ripping them off". After coming home, I looked up the reviews for the dealership. Unfortunately, I found that this has happened to others. Integrity is important!!! I walked out of the dealership with a bitter taste and my excitement about my new vehicle diminished. We then quickly met up with Elias the Delivery Specialist. He was able to restore some of the excitement by being so kind, professional, and patient as I asked questions about all the features on the the vehicle. Be aware!! You may be charged more than expected...
Read moreAs most consumers know, the market for buying cars right now is crazy. When the exact used car I was looking for popped up at Apple Sport Chevrolet I immediately called. I had previously missed other vehicles (by literally a day or a few hours) and there was actually someone test driving the car I wanted when I called. My sales woman, Brittany, promised to call me back if that deal didn’t go through. An hour later, she called and said it was available. From there, Brittany worked her tail end off to get my deal done. We did all of the communication remotely because I live 110 miles away from the dealership and she knew how much I wanted that car. When it came time to be go time for me to come get the car, my ride fell through. Brittney arranged for the car to be delivered to my house the next morning. I’ve never bought a car this way but Brittney and her team made it possible. There were a few minor issues with the car but don’t let that scare you. The reason I mention that is to say that things happen sometimes but Apple Sport made it right. They actually came back to come pick up the car, take it back to service, and fix the issues. A big shout out to GM Johnny Burns, assistant GM Pacco, Mark in service, and the two very sweet gentlemen who drove my car back and forth (I’m so bad with names) for making things right and giving top notch service. And a HUGE shout out to my saleswoman Brittany for going above and beyond to not only get my sale done but also for helping me beyond that to communicate with her team. Her work ethic is ON POINT and she’s a huge asset to Apple Sport and the customers they serve! I would definitely buy a car...
Read moreFYI! This dealership refuses to accept cash for any services rendered. Nor do they let you know in advance, or have any signage to alert you. As a person who prefers to pay cash, this policy is odd and simply strange. I was told because the dealership was robbed. I do wonder how all the sensitive information is kept safe? but anyway, the GM "WIll" who refused to give me his last name. The GM"Will" said "look it up" I was shocked that the GM "Will" was so ill prepared to provide any reasonable form of customer service. I was told go get a money order. But we will not release your vehicle until you pay your bill in full. However my bank is miles away and it is nearly 100 degrees outside. After trying to articulate my position, the GM "Will" just was not understanding or caring that I was the customer who was blind sided by this policy and just wanted to pay the bill of $456.03. He finally said here is $50.00 and I will take your $500.00 and said for me to leave since he did not understand or care why I was having issue with this situation. The GM "Will" said no one ever has problems not paying with cash and I was the problem. So needless to say what a terrible experience, and what a ridiculous way to "Handle" the customer. I was actually considering trading in this vehicle today and buying a new one, but as you can see the GM "Will" did not act or make me feel like I was important or even wanted as a customer. We do buy 2 new vehicles every second or third year, but Apple Sport Chevrolet will not be receiving our business. For those of you who just want to pay cash and receive good service, this is not the dealership to go...
