Pros: Room was kind of clean when we arrived. Hot tub and game room was plus. The toilet can take a beating. Dishwasher and Stove. Close to resort so you can get right on the slopes. |Cons: The furniture was straight from 1967. Light fixtures where either glass or gold for 1975. We also had some strange artwork staring at us during our time relaxing. The kitchen utensils, cups and cookware where a mixture of dollar store purchases and my great aunts Betty Crocker collection used during the Second World War. The hot tub will melt your skin off and the maintenance guy said he never heard anyone complain about it being to hot. We took the temperature it was 110 degrees. Not sure it was the temperature or the Clorox that melted my skin. The TV worked but the stand was one magazine from toppling over. No cable so make sure you have a Netflix Hulu or YouTube account. For five guys it was ok but no way would our wives stayed here. The toilet you will have to do a power squat every time so you should prepare your legs. Also watch the seat as it almost caught the ole yahoo a few times. |Conclusion: The lack of upgrades for this long only leads me to ask where does the money go? I mean new lights, cookware, appliances and such would go along way. The cost is to expensive for what you get. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else unless...
Read moreWe stayed here the weekend prior to Christmas 2018. It was great! Check-in was at mountain top check-in at the Top of the World Complex. Great customer service and the lobby there was clean. We were able to easily park on the Snowcrest property. Snowcrest is NOT close to the village, so it’s nice and quiet. Great for families with any age children as it’s away from the noise and drunk people. The Snowcrest property has a mountain lodge feel to it. There is an elevator. There are no restaurants attached to it, but just a short walk (2 minutes) is the Top of the World and Soaring Eagle buildings w restaurants and shopping. ||Our condo was a 1bedroom that could sleep 4 people w the sofa bed. The kitchen had everything we needed along with a full size fridge and microwave. The kitchen table was adequate and there was a closet to store our skis and other equipment. The owner of our 3rd floor unit decorated it with an Italian cooking theme. ||The bathroom was very clean. There was fast hot water with great water pressure. ||There is a shuttle bus stop on the East side of the building that can take you where you need within the Snowshoe Resort. The nearest lift is Soaring Eagle, a short walk down hill from Snowcrest. My family of 4 will definitely...
Read moreSnow crest is a part of the Snowshoe complex that had variety of activities like outdoor games, bike rides, shooting, zip rides, hiking to name a few throwing multiple options for stay. If are unlucky you get to stay here.||The good part is about the location. Scenic. The other good thing the way the whole package activity part is put together. Something for everyone. ||The bad part is the layout of the condo itself. Look very aged, drab, poorly lit, and has sad feel to it. The management should actively consider having assistance in the condo itself. As it is part of National Silence zone you cannot call the reception thro mobile for assistance. I was given a wrong key. Need to drive all the way back to exchange the keys!!||The ugly is the service & maintenance part. It doesn't flush. Thermostat doesn't work. Carpet is dusty. The reception doesn't respond till we were about to check out. Water mixture is faulty.||While the basic product by itself is good and is a part of the destination place, but with little bit of passion and commitment they would have a...
