What I liked: Room was spacious. 3 bedroom with one room that had 4 bunk beds. Full kitchen.

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Grocery store (its more like a quick mart) is across the street.

Shuttle to lifts is near the property and a reasonable walk. Picnic table -like seating offers plenty of seating. Great idea! Ski/snowboard racks right at front door inside. TV with plenty of channels.

What I didn't like:

Property needs updating. Old carpeting and kitchen cabinets. Shower faucets in bedroom leak heavily when turned on. Got trapped in bathroom due to doorknob sticking. Took about 3 minutes of playing with the doorknob to get out.

You get a text with gate code at noon before check in. Problem is there is no cell service so a lot of good that did. Luckily I was able to get into the parking lot as a guest was leaving. If there is a problem with door code make sure you screenshot wifi password at home before you arrive at Snowshoe due to no cell service. You'll need wifi to contact property management company if you can't get in.

Unit is down a set of stairs so up and down as you offload and upload your items from car to property.

Neutral notes: You'll need to drive to get to the village from this location. Most properties use baseboard heating. Air is extremely dry so I suggest boiling water on the stove to humidify the air before going to bed. Not property owners fault but - Neighbors / guests above this unit were loud. Stay at 202A Leatherbark! It was an amazing experience! For an affordable price, it was walking distance from the slopes, village with bars and shops, and even a pool and hot tub. Everything was clean with towels and soaps available too. It is even close to the Wildcat Market with everything that can be needed from basic food items to alcohol! The rental company was also extremely accommodating by leaving information in case anything was needed and a list of what to do when leaving.
