Was a nice place and clean. Didn't care for the fact that the elevator was at the complete opposite end of the hallway and the ice machine downstairs. I'm somewhat disabled from hips to feet and was easier to just use the stairs. With the place being pretty close to empty I didn't quite understand why the guests were all placed upstairs. Mgr was friendly and very specific about the rules. I'd been through quite an ordeal for the solid week prior to checking in and exhausted. Morning of checkout I received call stating it was getting close to checkout and I advised I would be staying another night. It was made clear I had to be downstairs to pay before 11am checkout time. I was moving slow as I'm always crippled up a bit when getting out of bed. To my surprise there was a knock on door as it was being opened from the outside and I was trying to get dressed! Apparently I wasn't moving fast enough to get downstairs to pay up. When I got there he explained he had 3 bosses and if things aren't done to their satisfaction he gets yelled at. That's a bit strict. The price of the room was higher than what was stated on their website to my surprise. Then I was advised the price goes up on weekends so I made sure to check out prior to that. There was a washer n dryer for guests to use but washer said broken n see management for use. If you're a smoker do not make the mistake of thinking you can sneak a smoke in your room. There's a $200 charge if you do and it can be smelled in the hallway. I was just happy to have a place to lay down and sleep. I checked out due to price hike for weekend and slept in my van the next night. The manager was pleasant but firm on the rules. I had no idea they had a...
Read moreWe asked for extra pillows. We got one that had blood stains. Another it was just pure gross. And my sister said there was a group up front that smelled like drugs. So I'm assuming weed. And kids running around that I think live here. Then I returned the 2 Pillows, came back to the room and my sister said the toilet was plugged up. Went to go ask them to fix it. They gave me a plunger. I couldn't get it fixed. He couldn't give us another 3 bed room as they were full. He walked back to our room to get the plunger. I asked him to try and he didnt know how to use the plunger.... He gave me a room key for bathroom usage to a room halfway down the hall. I have kids. It didn't work well. The lady on drugs left through her window with some guy the next morning. No clue where the kids were. They allowed a red truck with cargo trailer to stay in their parking lot. They were drinking and pissing in the lot all night. Sheets ripped. Stains on EVERYTHING
Update: I have been calling for over 2 weeks because the manager asked me to per the response to my review shown below. I was told his name is Jay. He is ONLY available between 10 pm -6 am Monday through Thursday. Have tried calling at 10 pm and told that he isn't there yet and won't be there until 1230 am. I was also told he is the only one that can issue me a refund. I was only going to ask for a 50% refund but might be pushing for a 100%. So unprofessional...
Read moreIf you are looking for a budget friendly place to stay, this is it. However...you really do get what you pay for. Rooms: No trashcan in room at all, No tissue, dirty coffee pot, had to ask front desk for trashcan, coffee and tissue. Stayed 5 nights and not once did they touch my room, which was ok, but would have liked some clean towels at least once during my stay. Make sure you check your window. My room was on first floor and when I checked, the window was unlocked and no screen. Anyone could have easily come in. Also safety lock chain inside room was busted. Breakfast: 2 types cold cereal, white toast, dyi waffle. Coffee was instant and bad. Only ate there once. I needed to do a little laundry and washer and dryer were not working properly. Front desk had to come start washer and dryer took forever with lots of quarters. Ended up drying my clothes in my room. The big thing for me was all of the displaced, homeless people staying at the hotel. They were constantly hanging around the outside, sitting on the curb and the kids were running around the parking lot. One guy was sleeping in the hallway a few doors down and I reported to the front desk. Very sad. I can say, whenever I needed anything the front desk staff always got it quickly for me. Also the bed was hard, but comfortable for me. I probably will not...
