Deluxe Inn & Suites — Hotel in Memphis

This is a place to go if you are very short or strapped on cash and need somewhere to be for a night. I don't suggest staying past one night due to the activity you see moving and hovering about around the area of the motel (e.g. ladies and gents of the evening and other colorful characters). It certainly is not what I would call family friendly and it is listed as not pet friendly, so if you are looking for a motel in the "extremely tight budget" category for you and your furry baby, this is not up for consideration and discussion. No pets are allowed. As far as customer service, The office staff is not very warm and welcoming and friendly. The customer service could be greatly improved. I did find the cleaning staff to be very kind and pleasant and appreciated their customer service. Great price when you're in a bind. Plus the gentleman that checked us in last night was super friendly and helpful. Downfall is none of the rooms come with a mini fridge and it's not located in the best area. It's directly across the street from Love's truck stop so that's convenient for grabbing cold drinks and snacks since it has no fridge. The rooms aren't beautiful. This place has mold all in the bathroom and is just a rundown establishment that should really close its doors. The front door doesn't close all the way, so you feel unsafe to sleep there.
