I was referred to Saving Grace Plumbing from a friend of a friend. Didn’t know what to expect and relied heavily on my friend’s referral and the company’s high Google star rating. To answer your question – Yes, I would use them again and am happy with the work being done so far.
I was experiencing water draining from UNDER my entire driveway and into the alley (see pics). I was told by friends and other plumbing companies (on the phone) based upon the factors present, I most likely had a slab leak. The water meter in the front yard is running when everything is shut off in the house and it appears I'm still losing about a gallon of water every minute and a half. Just like any major house repair – who can you trust to do the job and give a fair price for the work? Once I called Saving Grace, they scheduled the leak locate appointment for the next day.
Plumbing Technician Robert came out with one of his coworkers. They were very professional, friendly, and, most importantly, knowledgeable. They were able to locate a cold-water leak feeding into my water heater within minutes. It was amazing how efficient they were finding the leak in a short amount of time using their equipment. The leak locate cost about $300.
I got the estimate two days after the leak locate was done and agreed to their repair price about $4,000. The slab leak repair will be for a cold-water line that feeds into my water heater. I am now waiting for the dig and repair crew which will be sometime next week. They are busy and the only drawback being the leak will have been running for over a week before it’s fixed. I am sure I will get sticker shock when the City’s water bill comes in for the month.
I’ll add to this review once all the repairs have been completed. My impression as of now is Saving Grace Plumbing has a top-notch, very knowledgeable crew who can find leaks...
Read moreI hired Saving Grace Plumbing on June 11, 2025, to perform a slab leak detection at my home. I paid $350 in full via Zelle, with the understanding that this fee covered professional leak detection to pinpoint the exact location of the leak so that repair work could begin.
Prior to the appointment, I had already identified a potential hot water line leak in the master bathroom using my own infrared camera, and I shared this information with them. However, what I received from the plumber was only a vague written estimate stating that the leak was "between the lavatory and the tub"—something I already knew. No markings were made on the floor, and no formal written report showing the exact leak location was provided, despite multiple requests.
I followed up five times over ten days asking for the report. The company repeatedly declined to provide it, saying they "do not mark the floor" and insisted that the vague estimate was sufficient. When I asked for a refund due to the lack of deliverables, they refused.
In the end, I was left with no usable leak location, no written report, and no option to dispute the charge because payment was made through Zelle. I have have to hire another plumber to do the leak detection again, wasted my time and money
This review is not written out of frustration alone—it’s to warn others who may be considering this company for leak detection services. Make sure you understand exactly what you will and will not receive before agreeing to any services...
Read moreSaving Grace required 3 different appointments for a simple toilet issue, then they tried to overcharge me with multiple service fees, and my toilet is still inoperable. They never showed up on time for any of the 3 appointments and are looking to make extra money by creating multiple tickets/service fees for the same system. The entire experience has been extremely unprofessional to the point where Choice Home Warranty had to reassign the ticket a different company.
Background: Saving Grace was dispatched to my house from Choice Home Warranty to fix a leaking toilet. After 'repairing' it, the toilet started leaking again. Instead of fixing it in a recall, Saving Grace opened a new claim saying it was a different part even though the part directly connected to what they just replaced. There wasn't an issue with this part prior to them working in that area. Choice Home Warranty tried to reopen it under a recall, but Saving Grace refused to fix it under this condition. It appears their business model is to rush through as many of these as possible and collect as many service fees as they can instead of providing quality service. If the plumber has to wait more than 10mins for an answer from the warranty company, they leave and you have to wait another 2 days to get someone else out there. If you have a warranty company or looking to hire them independently, be prepared for this type...
