Hello I want good night! I want to share with you my last guest experience in the Best Western line of hotels! I am already a former customer of you, I always recommend Best Western to everyone you know and friends, but yesterday I had a terrible experience that I no longer know if I will continue to recommend Best Western to people. I made the purchase for my accommodation at your hotel online. I read all the regulations and since I am already a client I know what your regulations are like. I showed up to do the cheeckin at the Best Western in Milford at 2:50 am, (for some personal reasons), but I knew that I could do my cheeckin until 7am thus fulfilling my cheeckout until 11 am. Upon entering your hotel, there was no one to attend to me. I had to call the hotel and a boy came out who very politely attended me, being very offensive and prejudiced towards me. He said that I would have to pay again if I wanted to stay at the hotel, because I should have checked in until 3pm, he spoke in the way that I spoke English! It really was an experience that I felt very discriminated against going through it. I have never been so poorly attended and discriminated against anywhere in my life. I unfortunately did not call the police, because after a long day of so many events what I wanted most was just to sleep. He said that I should pay another accommodation or withdraw from the hotel, as he did not find my reservation! I informed him several times, showed him my reservation made and paid for online, gave him my hotel reservation confirmation number to him and even with all the information I passed on to him. He was still ignorant and rude and saying I was supposed to pay for another accommodation. When I told him that I would call the police, because I felt very discriminated against, he left the desk and came back with a paper and said he had found my reservation! And at no time did he apologize for his mistake and if it informed us how we would do it or the quickest way for me to get to my room! I had to ask him if he could please tell me where my access to my room was and very politely he informed me and said that I should leave the hotel at 10am and stop by his desk. I feel really bad and so far I can't believe what I went through and the regret that I didn't call the police. This is something very serious, as I know that your company is serious, but as it happened to me it could happen to someone else and no one deserves to be treated as he treated me, we all deserve respect. Read moreWe 100% were taken advantage of. Manipulated by the owner to take down a review that was nothing but sincere, truthful and honest. A review which people definitely would find helpful that truly expressed our concerns related to the safety of our health, and the liability and expectations of cleanliness related to our stay. I intend to put back the original review again, not only here but In multiple apps only now with the addition of all the empty promises, the lies, run arounds and insults we experienced through out the weeks after that we followed up with extreme efforts related to the simple request for refund that was already agreed upon as long as we took down that original review... however now, we realize public safety is far more important than getting back 2 nights worth of hotel charges.
This post however is for anyone who feels a refund is in order based upon an issue with your stay... all I can say is that our experience with that was equally as terrible after the time spent abiding by they’re requests only to find out they never intended to remedy our issue by refunding us and felt we were just swept under the rug.

Reality is No one should be shamed for reporting Dangerous intervenous needles found in the same bed you sleep in especially when it’s found out that it belonged to a previous guest who had OD’d!! Yes I t was left over from a drug user who reportedly OD’d in that same room which had been failed to have been cleaned adequately... let alone searched and or washed better then standard knowing a person OD’d there that drugs may still be in the room.... Which means they did not clean the sheets well enough to have found an uncapped opened or exposed syringe in the bed... now I have to think, how many people have slept in those sheets that did not get washed in over a weeks time...?

Pros: check-in guy friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was clean, well laid out, with modern decor. The bathroom also had a modern feel to it. Water was hot. Wifi good in room 112. Plenty of parking. Location good. They still have daily maid service - first I’ve seen of it in the summer of covid. Everything worked and the place had no fatal flaws. Rates were very good.
Cons: no microwave in the room, although one is available in the breakfast area. Limited bathroom counter space. No grab and go breakfast. The rooms (116 and 112) I was in felt slightly small. In the first room I was in, the fan wouldn’t shut off. The second room had a number of dead yellowjackets around the window sill, and live yellowjackets after several days. The public areas weren’t particularly clean. Exiting the parking lot, it's blind to the left. The problem with the property is the exterior appearance. The property is not landscaped - between this and litter in the parking lot, the property looks dreary and almost rundown.
I would stay there again as long as the rate was good.
General to Best Western: I made a reservation online. When my plans changed, I wanted to cancel the reservation. There was a glitch in their system and I had trouble logging in, but after several tries I was able to and I successfully canceled the reservation. Then I went to make a new reservation with the new dates, and the system had a glitch where it wouldn’t allow me to complete the reservation. I tried logging out and back in, closing the browser, etc., but nothing worked. Finally I called BW customer service and booked on the phone. Then, I started getting automated emails from Best Western every hour asking me if I wanted to finish my reservation. Best Western needs to address these issues.
