It was our first, but won’t be our last!! It was an absolutely perfect spot for fall break and we are already checking our calendar for when we can return! ||From the moment you enter the gates, it is an amazing experience start to finish! ||We were escorted to our site, parked and immediately hit the ground running with all the activities. The park itself is extremely clean and well taken care of and the staff are all so friendly and helpful.||We were in site B19. It was closer to the front of the campground, and while we did have some highway noise as others have mentioned (and as we expected due to the proximity to the highway) the grounds and all the offerings far outweighed any negative thoughts on that for us. After spending 8 nights there and getting the lay of the land, I think we would rebook|Our site again in a heartbeat. ||I also loved that Splash opened their arms to accept people evacuating from the lower part of the state and were so accommodating to those affected by the storm. ||I was also highly impressed that while the park seemed to be reasonably full during this past week, you absolutely didn’t feel that at all. ||All the food we had was great and the drinks from the bar were also all great and all served with a smile! The pools and lazy river were all a hit! We also actually got to dip our toes into the adults only pool when our kids were busy with activities which really was a nice touch and I’m sure the people traveling without children really appreciated. ||I do have to call out yoga with Darcie. We went around the room introducing ourselves and spending an hour grounding with some of those people that had evacuated and being able to put some positive energy in their world through yoga was truly moving.||A few park highlights:|The convenience of being able to use your wristband to purchase around the campground was also an extra perk we enjoyed. ||They also had a few spots that would be great for families or friends camping together and although we were only traveling with immediate family, this would be an ideal place for traveling with family/friends without campers as well as the cabins and wagons looked amazing as well! ||The bathhouse and laundry facilities were also immaculate.||The campground is also very kid friendly and all guests were very mindful of all the kids on bikes and scooters. ||We chose this location for the amenities but also its proximity to the beach, which is always a favorite for us in October. The drive to Navarre was super easy and we even drove to Pensacola one day and spent some time there as well. ||We did our main shopping at the Walmart in Milton, but there is a piggly wiggly right down the street for any last minute needs. ||Overall, one of our favorite camping trips so far!! Our last day was spent repeating “we aren’t leaving!!!” || You can’t go wrong with...
Read moreWe just returned from the most incredible vacation at Splash RV Resort in Milton, FL, and honestly, my heart is still full. This trip was everything I hoped for and more. It wasn't just a vacation—it was a life-changing experience that brought our family and friends closer in ways I didn’t even know were possible.
Traveling in our RV with my husband and daughter and meeting up with our best friends felt like stepping into a dream. The RV sites were spacious enough and spotless, and the convenience of full hookups made everything so effortless. We were just steps away from the waterpark, which made everything feel like a paradise right at our doorstep.
And then there was the waterpark—it was beyond words. The slides were a rush of adrenaline, with the laughter of my daughter filling the air as she raced down them over and over again. Watching her excitement, her joy—it was like seeing her spirits soar. The lazy river was our calm haven, the perfect escape where time seemed to slow down. The splash pads? Pure magic for the little ones I'm sure. There were so many moments where I just sat back and watched, overwhelmed with gratitude.
There was a moment when I was floating in the lazy river, surrounded by my family, and it hit me like a wave: this is everything. The peace, the joy, the laughter. I actually started crying—tears of joy, as silly as it sounds. It was just so perfect, so much more than I ever could’ve asked for. I looked around at my family, my friends, the smiles, and realized how much we needed this time together. It felt like the world had finally given us the space to breathe, to laugh, and to be.
And let’s not forget the poolside cabanas—absolute heaven. My friend and I sneaked away for a quiet moment, drinks in hand, soaking in the warmth of the sun and the comfort of good conversation. It was blissful and serene, like we were the only two people in the world.
Evenings were equally magical. We gathered in the common areas as we shared stories, memories and listened the kids sing karaoke. The sound of their voices filling the air, and we just lived in the moment. It was exactly what our souls needed.
Splash RV Resort isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience that will stay with you forever. It’s a place to laugh, love, and create memories that will warm your heart for years to come. I’m already planning our next visit and counting down the days until we can go back.
If you’re looking for a family vacation that will fill your heart to the brim and leave you with memories you’ll cherish forever, Splash RV Resort is the place. I left with a heart full of gratitude, laughter, and tears of joy—and I wouldn’t trade a single...
Read moreWe visited this resort in June of 2024.
First impressions, their check in procedures seemed to flow smoothly but only because I encouraged my wife to jump out of the truck and go inside to see if she could check in while we were waiting in line (4 RV's in front and 3 behind us) - this should either be advertised (via email or signage) or there should be someone outside providing instruction. I also observed (and personally encountered at a later date) that there is no way for staying guests to return to the park without going through the same lane/driveway as the checking in guests, which obviously is a problem depending on the time of day when you go through the gate (fortunately, we did not have to wait long, but if I had been behind the line that was checking in when we did, I would have been pissed).
After entering the park and arriving at our site, we noticed (and i really respected) the number of trees that they kept while building the park - really makes a difference and makes it feel like the park has been there for some time. Kudos to the owners and developers for making this important. Unfortunately, the highway noise detracts from the beauty of the park, so hopefully they can get the DOT to erect a noise barrier before it impacts their bookings.
The number one factor affecting my rating was the ban on personal golf carts. I could accept this if they weren't renting their own carts (basically states you can't have a golf cart unless we are profiting off it). The excuse I was given when booking is their insurance or operating permit did not allow for personal golf carts, but that really makes no sense since the liability and maintenance of renting a golf cart, owned by the facility, far exceeds the liability and cost of having a guest sign a waiver and provide proof of insurance to use their own cart. We have used our personal golf cart at similar resorts like Camp Margaritaville and Ft. Wilderness, so hopefully they will see the light at some point as we will not be back until personal carts are allowed (ours is actually registered with a Florida tag and full insurance, but that was still not acceptable).
Other than the issues mentioned above, we did enjoy our stay and the overall ambiance of the park along with the waterpark, which we all enjoyed due to the heat. The grandkids especially liked the lazy river, the activities, and the food trucks. So, if you don't have a golf cart, have kids, and don't mind the road noise, this is a great park. Hopefully they will change the rules so we can visit again...
