The Monteagle Inn & Retreat Center is delightful. No small item has been overlooked and every detail has been taken care of. The property is rich with history, meticulously maintained, pristine in cleanliness, elegant in atmosphere and simply warm and comfortable. You will feel immediately like you are among friends when you meet the owners Jim and Lee, and their right hand assistant, Lynette. Expect chocolate treats on your bed, ample thick towels, very comfortable bed with pillows galore, wine chilled on ice, if desired, and served to your room. You will be invited to a truly gourmet breakfast of spectacular fresh fruit followed by a delicious frittata, sausage and breakfast potatoes. Enjoy your meal in the lovely dining room or step out back and eat al fresco on the patio. Be sure to make time to unwind and relax on the huge front porch complete with cushioned wicker chairs and rockers that just invite you to slow down and soak up all the goodness of Monteagle Inn and Retreat Center. Great place to stay - Our daughter stayed with a friend overnight so we decided to get away.

We booked last minute at the Monteagle Inn Bed & Breakfast and Retreat Center. I had never been but always wanted to try it.

Highly recommend it. Everything about it was perfect.

They allow you to book one night only if that’s all you want which is rare. They let us check in early as well.

Checkout is not until 11.

The whole place felt like a Hallmark movie could be shot there.

Met the owner. Super nice. The staff was amazing.

They have drinks set out upstairs and downstairs at no additional charge.

The place is located not even a half a mile from High Point Restaurant which is one of my favorite places to eat. Al Capone’s old house.

They also have a conference center that I’m looking at booking for a retreat.

I booked out the entire Monteagle Inn for our company retreat in December. It was perfect! The owners and all staff went out of their way to ensure my company employees felt special.

I loved having the ability to dine together and then relax in the open family room around the fireplace after the conference. It's difficult to find a place large enough for our entire crew, without the feel of it being a hotel. The Monteagle Inn was charming and well worth it.

Each room was beautifully appointed. The bedding is amazing! Everyone is still talking about it.

The conference center fit our needs perfectly. All equipment worked as it should. Again, staff kept checking on us ensuring all was perfect!
