Expectations for Cafe's run high since so often they end up bland. Depot Cafe finds itself conveniently located for passerbys and could easily be overlooked if one wasn't careful. A hearty breakfast of Biscuits, a gravy that speaks of homemade, properly cooked sausage to ready me for the day. Additionally, the delightful option of a single pancake so often missing from menus. An extra indulgant carb boost before a day of work or adventure. Of course chased with a coffee that was good and strong. The atmosphere is home town to the tee, clean and nicely decorated with a casual ease that makes you feel at home. The staff interact with folks by name and conversed about the day. This is a great spot to come every morning and get a hot meal that will not disappoint. I certainly suggest it and would gladly revisit given the chance....

Everyone was happy and full when we left. The food is wonderful, the staff are great, its just a great place. On our 2nd visit in our waitress remembered everyone's previous order from 2 days prior! You just dont experience that much anymore. They appreciate everyone that stops in and it shows. We will be visiting again....June 2021 Great place! Friendly staff, clean and stocked restrooms. Read moreFood was delicious. I ordered the bacon cheese burger with tots and pecan pie and coffee. Been in Tennessee for 6 days and this is the best food I've found on my visit. The service was very nice. Everything was clean, staff was very friendly and happy. The inside was a bit small. Tables were pretty close together. Could use some more seating. But all in all this was a fantastic place for breakfast or lunch. It had a nice mom and pop feel to it. And I could tell the kitchen was back there making lots of the food from scratch just like mom...
