I would rate the Trotter House a 10 if I could. The staff were knowledgeable in regards to shopping, ghost searches, cemeteries and local eats. We were hoping to find a ghost at the trotter house and honestly too many things did happen that we could not explain. Oh! We were the only people in the house so anything odd that happened could not be explained. We had the entire home and only 4 of us. I heard children giggling, a door outside was open and it was closed when we went to bed, plus it took 2 of us to close it again. I heard something very loud one night and thought someone was playing with us but all doors were locked and no art had fallen. It was a loud noise! Ample concrete pad for parking or staging events. Just off the square and across the street from the First...

There's an elevator in this room ("in case stairs are a problem") - not an issue for us, but be aware that there's a step up to the bathroom and another step up into the shower if someone is truly handicapped. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets, towels and shower were high quality. Everything was very clean. Our room was at the front of the house and there was traffic noise if one is a light sleeper - we'll choose a room farther back if we visit again. Breakfast was plentiful, with eggs, biscuits, sausage and...
