Save A Lot — Local services in Monticello

Save a lot is good for canned items and boxed foods, even produce. But when it comes to their meats I am highly disappointed. I bought a big box of ground beef patties and there was no date on the outside of the box, but when I opened it to make burgers I saw on the little packages that separated the patties that they had been expired for a year... I didn’t think a store was supposed to do that. I doubt I will be shopping there again because even the tubes of hamburger meat were a week from expiring... I really like shopping at Save-A-Lot in Monticello, Arkansas the store is always clean , they usually have what I'm looking for. The prices are not bad neither. They are always having good sales on there meat and I love it when I can get there rib eye steaks. There employees are always asking if you need help finding what you are looking for.
