We were super excited to try this place when we saw they were going to open! We went for Saturday lunch. As soon as we walked in we enjoyed all of the decor, and there were 4 or 5 employees standing at the front. No one greeted us. We stood waiting to be seated and our drink order was taken, but we didn’t get our drinks for at least 10 minutes. We ordered the crawfish fries, which were good and timely! We ordered The Best, a shrimp poboy, and a burger to share amongst us and our child. We also all ordered teas, which were $4 each. I realized I was missing the mussels in my seafood boil where I was then told they put my order in wrong and at least it’s cheaper now. The poboy was actually inedible. The bread it was on was almost impossible to bite through due to how stale the bread was. We had to send it back. The alcoholic drink was pretty good, but not worth $12. The liquor tax was over $9, so you should be really hankering for some alcohol. All of our food, even after we asked them to take off the poboy since it wasn’t eaten and inedible, was $91. If you want to try the place just to say you tried it, I wouldn’t recommend it but you do you. If you’re going because you think it may be good, don’t. Just go to Oceans or the crawfish...
Read moreThis was a "weird" dining experience. The theme is a seafood and Mexican food. I felt like I was in a Mexican Red Lobster. Our waitress was outside on her cell phone when we arrived. We ordered and we never brought refills. Our waitress was sitting in another booth across from us and was on her cell phone. She eventually came over and we asked for refills. She said she was going on her "break" and said another server was gonna take over and take "good" care of us. Nobody ever came to our table to introduce themselves, not to be our waitress. We ended up leaving and told each other that WE WOULD NOT BE BACK! This was a HORRIBLE experience. The sad thing was, all the servers we standing together at the cashiers desk, talking and were on their phones and never bothered to check on us. On a positive note, the tacos were...
Read moreGot a fried fish plate with Cajun fries and hush puppies. First off, you expect fried fish to atleast be crispy, right? No… this was the mushiest “Fried fish ever” you ever had a fish fry, and put some left overs in the fridge, them later microwaved it and it lost the crispiness and turned soft? That is on point what this fish tastes like. Left over, microwaved food from yesterday. Same with the soggy fries. So soggy, my 1 year old was eating whole fries like nothing becuase they turned to mush apon grabbing them. Absolutely a waste of $17.. Onto the kids meals. I’m not fooled, my kids were served single sized pizzas from Walmart or somewhere, you know the little mini personal pizzas? Yeah. Also, microwaved. Not a single brown spot or crispy crust indicating anything had been baked. Also, complete waste of $7...
