As a business traveler you typically need a place to work and sleep. Entertainment is for the vacationers. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean. The room had a king size bed with lots of pillows, was a little firmer than I like. The writing desk and task chair were perfect for working at. The chair and ottoman were a nice touch. I spent a lot of time in the chair with my laptop working on projects. I found several outlets to power my devices. The only thing that I would say was missing was a desk level outlet. A typical 4 cup coffee maker was clean and ready with a descent coffee. The refrigerator was a nice touch. Since I stayed 4 days having a few personal items in the fridge made it more comfortable. A hot breakfast is always welcome. Belgian waffle mix is ready out of a machine that you pour to make your own fresh waffles. Scrambled eggs and sausage are kept in a warming tray. There is a good selection of other breakfast items including danish, muffins, bagels, cereal, and fruit. Mind you this is not restaurant quality more like the items you might have at home from a grocery store. There was a computer and printer available in the front lobby. I had a file that I needed to print and was able to do so after figuring out how to find my flash drive on Windows 8. Again a nice touch for the...
Read moreClean room and comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. However, as a disabled person with limited mobility, when I attempted to use the closest entrance to my room to enter the building, prior to the time posted on a metal plate on the wall next to the entrance, the door was locked. I drove back to the front entrance, which was far from my room, the clerk told me they never have that entrance door unlocked and management did not have the sign removed. Additionally, when I walked out to my car, later, in a handicap parking spot, someone had parked next to my car so close I could not open my car door enough to get in. It was a lined through NO PARKING spot. When I went inside to ask the clerk to call to have the car towed, the clerk said she knew about the car illegally parked. It was her husband's car. He came to her work because she worked the night shift alone. I couldn't believe she would knowingly allow an able-bodied man park illegally in a marked area that was there for the benefit of disabled people.
Then, the next morning, before I could get my shower, all the power went out in the building. I was afraid of falling in the totally black bathroom without lights.
Overall horrible experiences at this Comfort Inn! Do NOT recommend, especially if you have any...
Read moreOnce in our room we found trash and old pair of socks. Mentioned this to the desk clerk and he didn't really seem to care. Second day our room keys weren't working, my husband tried replacing but the desk clerk would not issue new keys because I was not present and he was not on the reservation. When checking in they never asked who was staying in the room with me. I said I've stayed at other hotels and they've asked who was staying with me and I had to write their names down in case something happened. He said not at this hotel. This hotel staff definitely does not have customer service skills or they are very lacking. Upon check out I once again had to wait several minutes to be acknowledged so I could receive my receipt. If we ever need to stay in Morgan Hill again I'm not sure I will book at this location again very disappointed.
Sonja in housekeeping was very helpful, she attempted to help my husband and family enter the room when the keys were not working however, her key wasn't working either. She went to the front desk and received another key to let them in. She let me know that they were in the room while I was waiting for new keys. The man at the desk only gave me one key so I had to go backup the to desk and get...
