I made the mistake of not reading reviews before booking here. Do not, I repeat, do not stay here... Obviously there are some sketchy long-term residents here, broken down trucks and trailers in the parking lot. That should've been my first sign to turn the other way. The hallway and rooms smell weird and like smoke. The room felt decently clean, but there were hardly any towels, a half used lotion bottle, and no conditioner. The WATER PRESSURE is like a mist. There's no way I would've been able to wash my hair with that. We slept one night and the breakfast was pretty lame. Typical hotel breakfast except half of what they normally consist of. No fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, muffins... There was bread, waffle maker, and small amount of eggs and sausage, and extremelyyy watered down orange juice. We specifically paid for this hotel for the pool and hottub, which was closed "due to contamination".... I decided to read reviews and saw multiple reports of bugs in the bed. Of course, we decided to check and sure enough I found a bug. I dont think it was a bed bug per se, but it was alive and moving 🤢 That is where I drew the line. We packed up and I asked for a refund of our remaining nights. Luckily the man helped me, he was unhappy understandably so, offered me a different room or different Quality Inn, but I declined and he did refund me. He was nice, but the man we checked in with the night prior was not very welcoming at all. We accidentally walked around the back trying to get to the car, and there is a literal heaping pile of trash just sitting outside. Not in a dumpster. Just garbage, everywhere. Old food, utensils, laying all around the permiter of the hotel. What is going on? They must not care enough to hire enough cleaning staff to keep the grounds clean, nor do they do anything about long term residents trashing the place. Also their phone line is disconmected when you try to call. We immediately went to the LaQuinta Inn and I couldn't be happier. Obviously this place is cheap for a reason, and I highly highly HIGHLY suggest paying a little more to get a pleasant...
Read moreI am a little confused by this place. I've had to stay for 2-3 weeks unexpectedly. It seems there is an extended family that owns this or it's is the owner's extended family, anyway they seem to all live here, and room furniture is grouped nightly outside for their dinners, and rarely brought back in, the other night when I pulled into the parking lot, a wooden frame was being built and then I noticed there was a pig (skinned carcass) being tied to it upsidedown by it's feet and there was a big bag of charcoal briquettes next to them, and the next several days the frame and a bunch of related trash (bottles, cans, aluminum pans of charcoal ashes) were just thrown to the side of the parking lot. anywhere there are groupings of furniture outside. the next day there is always trash just left all around the table and chairs. which are just left out there,(the same) little kids often run up and down the halls kicking doors (one little girl told me one day, after looking me up and down, seeing me in my old shorts and t-shjrt, she gestures at me telling me " you wearing that? and that?" And then she shakes her head sadly. "You not beautiful.". Well I guess she was probably right, I do notice all the women in this family are dressed in beautiful.. saris I think? which are much more beautiful than what I had on...kind of cracked me up actually, you rarely are left to wonder what a kid thinks of you), trash is in stairways for days, last time it was cleaned it was by a guy with a leaf blower, used indoors, so that the stairway smelled like.exaust...its just...not exactly what Id expect at a chain motel. The sink in my room has been clogged since we got here, otherwise the room itself is...
Read moreMy whole experience with this Quality Inn started off on the wrong foot and it never got better. First off, I called around 12:30pm to see if a room was ready for me, I was told it would be in an hour. I waited 90 minutes, then went and checked in. As I opened my room, I found an unmade bed, trash on the floor and ironing board which was not put away. I had to wait another hour or so for a different room. Once I finally got a clean room, I opened my laptop up to find out that there was no internet. This was around 3:30-4pm on a Wednesday afternoon. After repeated phone calls to the front desk to inquire about the internet I was still left with no answers and no internet. The front desk manager was quite rude Wednesday, and he was the same individual I dealt with Thursday night when there was still no Internet. I was assured by the morning staff that there would be internet by the time I returned to the hotel that evening. As of Friday morning when I checked out there was no internet. I was put two days behind in my work due to this. I was not compensated with anything for the room error and the lack of internet, bonus points might have been a good touch, but no, nothing. The breakfast was awful, it was the worst free breakfast I have ever seen at a hotel. It was bad to the point I went and bought breakfast at a nearby restaurant. My room was full of gnats, I killed at least 10 in just one night.
After this experience, I will NEVER stay at this Quality Inn or any other Quality Inn as long as I need a hotel. Was just a pitiful...
