ROACHES*** I try not to be too harsh when it comes to these things but there were some little annoyances that put me off to the room. At first glance the room looks servicible and for the most part it was. These are the negative things that stood out to me however. Pictures included. First I noticed the curtains did not close all the way, and I sat there for a few minutes trying to see if I could but they're designed in a way that there will inevitable be a gap. I like my rooms dark, but more importantly private. I happened to be on the first floor and anyone could glance right in. Next was the bathroom. As soon as I turned on the water, it came out brownish in color and with dirt particles. After letting it run a bit it did eventually become clear but it was a little disconcerting at first. As I said they were pretty minor annoyances even though you'd think with a name brand hotel it would be better, but the worst part came the next morning. After brushing my teeth and picking up one of the fresh towels from the stack, two roaches scurried out. That's where I drew the line. Luckily it was the day of check out but that experience put me off from even trying the complimentary breakfast. I did manage to snap a photo of one of the less camera shy roaches though. I just grabbed something quick from the nearby gas station instead. All in all the minor annoyances wouldn't normally deter me from a mid tier budget hotel like this, but when it comes to roaches, if you see one, there's probably more.

This hotel was the worst that I had ever stayed room wise. The two rooms that we were given both had a serious fly infestation, yes I said FLY INFESTATION. The explanation is that the previous guests caused the problem by leaving the patio doors open! UNACCEPTABLE! Especially when the second room had dead flies so that means no one when through to make sure that the unused rooms were not dusty which it was. I bet since we were moved no one cleaned the first room we had... This hotel definitely should not be designated as a PLUS for the chain. That was the only reason I choose it. Best Western needs to investigate or update their standards but they never need to worry about the kid EVER AGAIN... Next time I will sleep in my CAR AT A REST STOP if Best Western anything is my only choice!

Coming in exhausted @ 230am, we needed sleep. By 7am there was hammering, sawing, drilling right above our heads. Called the front desk, "Sorry" they can work 8-8. We didn't pay $140+ for 5 1/2 hrs. We needed to sleep until checkout plus we are Seniors and need to rest to continue our day. Why would you allow construction on a roof where people paid to sleep? I did apparently chat with a hotel staff or manager also, but to no avail. She claims it's on their website. I screen shot alot of pages for them and nowhere was a construction warning. Maybe on the booking before you finalize, it needs to post ongoing loud construction going on from 8am-8pm. Please consider this before booking at this motel! They don't care as long as the fill a room and get money.

My room experience well let's say in the beginning it was wonderful the staff as far as most of the house keepers that I actually meet seem very nice and personable . The front desk and Management again were excellent and very understanding of my reason for being in the area which was to disperse my wife as she wished in her last wishes. On Sept the 2nd I got down to the desk later than normal and was supposed to check out that day , but due to the rough night I had emotionally and physically I really didn't feel like driving on so stated another night . Granted my room was down to be checked out but was changed and supposed to have notified the housekeeper to leave and no cleaning. Well when I returned that evening it had been clean and sanitized but after entry I noticed all my belongings were gone , the house keeper took it all dirty clothes , new shoes charging all sorts of things . Files the report with local police and come the following Monday I had conversations with the female investigator who I swear after hearing my story made it here personal mission to get her apprehended and in court asap. She had her in custody by Wednesday noon and recontacted me to see if I would show up to press charges and I told her yes I'd be there. On the day of court I told her I had some significant charges that were made to my debit card by Best Western terminal in Morristown there . More that what should have been and still unknown who or why these charges appeared . So my suggestion since Best Western seems as if they washed their hands of any responsibility or care to reach out and make what has been stolen from twice now . If you stay pay cash don't entrust your card with this Best Western. And in case Best Western is reading that was a solid charge above what my room was to the tune of $825....

We stayed in one of their updated rooms which had a nice decor. The upside of staying there: it was cheaper than the Hampton Inn, the pool looked nice, the breakfast area was fine, and it was easy to book the dates we needed. The downsides: the towels were Motel 6 quality, the faucet hot and cold were opposite directions from how they should be, the humidity in the room was off the charts even with the AC running full blast for the entire 2 days we endured making it difficult to get a good night's sleep and there was an odd odor everywhere we went in the hotel (urine like). The stairwells were dirty and were never cleaned during our stay. The elevator was out of order the whole time. The front desk was not helpful and even agreed on how things weren't up to par. The view out our window was a ditch with trash in it. We left after 2 days even though we had booked the whole week. We immediately went over the the Hampton Inn next door to find it 100% better than the Best Western. The "Best" Western was actually the "worst" experience we've had in a long time at a hotel. We do NOT recommend staying there. Even though the Hampton Inn is more expensive, it's worth it for a good night's sleep, cleanliness, helpful and kind staff, all indoors (you don't have to walk outside to go to the front desk or breakfast area like the Best Western), all updated rooms with fixtures that turn the correct way for hot/cold. We have booked our future stay...
