We love this RV Park! It's clean and easy to access. Check-in was a breeze. Our stay was the peaceful, quiet getaway that we needed. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better stay. Now for the owners... They are the best! They want you to enjoy their park and do their very best to make sure you do. They're so friendly and treat you like they've always known you. We happened to run into them on the square while they were setting up a Christmas tree at the courthouse. These precious people invited my children to put some ornaments on the tree. If you are looking for a family-friendly, clean facility, and down to earth good-hearted owners, this is the place for you! We stayed in an rv spot but plan to bring family with us next time that will stay in one of the hotel rooms.

This place is so tucked away, right in town, but it doesnt feel it. Quiet, very clean and comfortable rooms and cabins. Very reasonably priced, too. I came for a bluegrass festival and just after the night time show started, I had to leave and go to the ER. Obstructing kidney stones. Yea me. The owners were so gracious and kind! They went and got my meds for me, brought me food and water and i stayed two extra nights cause I couldnt drive. Highly recommend!

Outstanding service! Outstanding price! We stayed in the Lodge and were very impressed. It was cold and rainy and we had spent the day volunteering for the annual Sylamore 50k race. We returned to a warm, exceptionally clean cabin. Thank you for a stress free weekend. Oh yeah, right before the rain started a very nice gentleman spent time to grade the gravel in the park and it definitely made a difference. The little things make it memorable for us.

We decided at the last minute on a Friday afternoon to stay the night in mountain view for a family reunion we had there on Saturday. We called many places to find somewhere to stay and everyone was booked. We called this place and were so thankful that had a room open. We weren't looking for anywhere fancy just somewhere cheap to stay the night at. We didn't get there until almost 930 and the man at the receptionist desk was very nice and understanding. The 2 queen room was perfect for me, my husband, and our three children. It was very clean, the beds were super comfortable, and the room was even decorated so cute. We all enjoyed relaxing the rest of the night watching the big 55' tv in the room and they even had a Roku box, which we all have because that is what we have at home. We all got to watch our favorite shows. We all also really enjoyed the double shower head with adjustable settings, as we don't have one of these at home so it was a nice little bonus for our stay. The room had a sliding back door that you go out and chairs to sit on the back balcony to enjoy some quiet time. There was also a fire pit in the back and as soon as we got to our room the person staying in the room next to us came over and invited us to the bonfire they were having. We didn't go as we were tired from our trip and had to get up early the next morning. We didn't hear the people at all from our room that were at the bonfire. The room only cost $89 AFTER tax and was much better then rooms we have stayed in that cost well over $100. We greatly enjoyed our experience at this place and highly...

We recently attended a View/Navion rally to witness the eclipse. We made these reservations a year in advance thanks to the foresight of our rally leader. At the time we made the reservations, some of the accommodations were not even available at the time. Shawna and Greg kicked it into gear and prepared things and areas for our rally. The accommodations were fabulous from the two community buildings with full kitchens that were amazingly stocked to the area outside the central location where they had built a cover for the outdoor area so that we could gather and enjoy the fine weather, but also be protected from any inclement weather. The cleanliness of this place is beyond comparison to any other location I have stayed. The large field beyond the RV camp, where they have some picnic tables and a fire pit was a fabulous place for the many dogs at the rally to enjoy some off leash time and play as well as the perfect place to view the eclipse. I can’t speak to the motel rooms, but I can’t imagine they would be anything less than comfortable and clean for sure. The town of Mountain View is quite charming and the celebrations that they held were fun to join in. The music was fabulous and the towns people were very nice. Definitely a place I would go again to enjoy beautiful views, great music, and some fun in the national Forest. I would stay nowhere else but...

We had our travel trailer stored in Branson, MO for several years. When we began going to Mountain View to meet friends and play music, we decided to move our trailer to a local park so we could have our own space there permanently. We checked the other parks around the area and after seeing this park and visiting with the owners, Shanna and Greg, we decided to move here. We like the fact that it's not close to the town square and the "Pickin' Park", but close enough to get there quickly. It's a bit more remote but just off Sylamore for easy access to the local restaurants and Wal-Mart. It's also a more of a 55+ park. We like that as parents with small children are not turned away, but not encouraged either. There's no playground, video game parlors, etc for kids. Other parks in the area have those if a visitor wants them. The park is also on a ridge overlooking an empty field and a forested area which allows for quiet meditation from one of the decks. The laundry and bath facilities are very clean and stocked. Also, the modern motel units are very nice with a small deck in back for enjoying a morning cup of "Joe". Rates are reasonable for the area. Anyone considering coming to Mountain View for any of the many festivals or to listen to or join in with the music scene should contact Shanna or Steven and ask about rates and availability. They...
