2 bdrm condo week 7/1- 7/8/17. DISGUSTING hotel. Check in 6 buildings away from where we stayed. Checked into room 1020. Very difficult to find parking spot. Waited an hour for luggage cart. SLOWEST elevator. SLAPPED IN THE FACE BY HORRIBLE STENCH in room. Walls had holes & wallpaper peeling off walls, edge guards on corners of walls were broken & hanging off wall. Walked into one & it ripped mom's pants & cut her. NONE of beds were made, toilets still had feces/urine in them, used towels all over bathroom, kitchen counters had liquid all over them, bugs in nasty green unvacuumed carpet, laminate counter tops peeled off, cabinet doors were broken, & microwave had something spilled all over. Room was outdated, still had tube tvs, couch cushions didn't fit the couch. Went to talk to someone & there was NO ONE at this building. Timeshare office gave me number to call. It was front desk at Ocean Beach Club. Female told me come back & get new room. I walked in & explained problems, the guy laughed & said no big deal. New room 428, was NOT CLEAN either. Wasted 2.5 hrs checking in, cleaned up our room ourselves. Glass tables dirty & fingerprints all over, the stove & oven filthy & unusable, the dvd player broken, sliding glass door broken & sharp metal piece sticking out & got stuck on shirts & put holes in clothes, tv area had dust everywhere, bathroom that wasn't attached to master bedroom kept clogging, other bathroom had shower with NO water pressure, pair of socks in closet, several broken hangers laying in closets, kitchen cabinet doors broken & hanging, cabinet with board games was messy, dust all over the plants, coffee table in living room had broken leg & it was about to collapse & there was sharp metal sticking out where leg was broken, shag carpet in room not vacuumed in very long time & a piece of plastic in carpet that brother stepped on & it stuck in his foot, beer bottle caps left on the balcony, sliding glass door in bedroom didn't work & had note on it said don't use because broken & it wouldn't close, so my parents listened to whistling noise all week, main bedroom remote had no batteries, dining room light wouldn't turn on, NONE of the lightbulbs were screwed in. There was NO information about hotel & facilities given to us. No clue where the pool & facilities were. No clue what time anything was open or closed. We figured out where pool was & we went to look at the pool, attendant there at 11pm wasn't friendly at all. Went to go to the restaurant attached, bar tender stared at us, but continued his story with patrons at bar. No customers in whole restaurant & after waiting for 10 minutes woman carrying her car keys came through door & went to back, never looked at us & walked away. After standing waiting 15 mins & not being talked to we decided to leave. As we walked out, same woman with keys walked out carrying food tray & started cleaning off dirty table. She still didn't talk to us, so we left. Parking in this lot was OUTRAGEOUS. There were more cars than parking spots, 3 nights we had to park in NON parking spots. I called the Ocean Beach Club to see what I should do, RUDE employee told to park in overflow lot at Ocean Beach Club & walk 6 buildings IN THE DARK with my handicapped father. She made a big deal that it was late & 4th of July week & made us feel like we broke the law by coming home late. One night I went to get information about Sands Beach Club from front desk at Ocean Beach Club, employee couldn't tell me ANYTHING. He had no information to give me. Excuse was he was 3rd shift employee & didn't know anything. They didn't know how to transfer a call to my hotel room. It was completely disappointing & waste of money. I wouldn't have paid $1000 to stay in this room, let alone $2400 that we paid! I have pics of both rooms we were given. This...
Read moreWorst experience I've had ever! When I arrived to check in no one was there so I called the after hours number provided and they told me they didn't know who I was. I told them I had my confirmation number ready, and they told me that wouldn't help so it took them another few minutes and finally they discovered that someone had already checked me in even though I hadn't arrived yet. They had me in a two bedroom two bath apartment style. It was cramped, the hallways are small, the beds are terribly uncomfortable, there was a weird sulfur smell throughout the entire place and you can hear your neighbors breathing not to mention every conversation they have word for word. I was told that I was going to be beachfront, but the living room was overlooking the pool (with loud children) and you could see a little bit of the beach out of the corner, and the bedroom overlooked the interior hallway where I could hear people coming and going all night... again, EVERY conversation. Also, in this particular location there are not very many people and not a lot going on. They have a restaurant attached to the building, but it was closed so I went to this pizzeria that was attached to my building. The paper thin pizza tastes like cardboard and the toppings were stale. I ended up throwing the majority of my pizza out. Earlier That day I almost blew my tires and messed up my car from running over Large rocks they had placed in the middle of the road that at one point was holding up by sign like it is in the picture below, but when I hit the rocks there was no sign anywhere in the Vicinity, somebody had just forgotten to move them so my car did⦠I had to move them out of the middle of the road so that someone else didn't mess up theirs. Someone was stomping around upstairs for the better portion of a night, and just when I was getting ready for bed my bathroom ceiling caved in and started flooding my bathroom. I called the emergency night line and Bill told me the general manager would be in touch and they would send someone from maintenance. They never sent anyone to my apartment and I never received a call. This all began at 8:30 PM so it wasn't incredibly late for the middle of the night, it was early evening. When I called back an hour and a half later, Bill told me the general manager had texted him And told him that they had been by the condo and fixed the problem. I had originally told him I was going out but I never did I was there the whole time and no one ever knocked or checked on me all while the leak was going from bad to worse. I asked Bill if they could move me to a different apartment or room and he said no, that was something the gentleman manager would have to take care of. I begged him to have the general manager call me But again I waited another hour and never received a call or a visit. I chose not to stay there any longer, and I'm assuming this will not be handled or dealt with, but I came home and ended my vacation I will absolutely NEVER go back And I would recommend anybody who wants to have a decent vacation DO NOT GO THERE!!!
Oh, and they left someone else's blood in the...
