Napoleon Motor Inn — Hotel in Napoleon Township

This is not a complaint although it may seem as such. While I appreciate the late check-in at midnight as I clearly caught the man headed to bed. The attention to service was lacking. This may be partially my fault as I did Say "all I care about is a bed". I failed to notice the absence of towels or wash cloths and not until i was startled to life by a cold shower the next morning did, I realize my mistake. I had to use the bed cover to dry off. I did not bother to complain as it seems clear that sort of thing would probably fall on deaf ears. This place is a reminder of travels with my grandfather in the 70s. an incredibly frugal man who lived through the depression he would always stay in the cheapest roadside inn he could find, The bedding, furniture etc. all seem as though they could be discards from the managers home or local goodwill. My girlfriend and I stopped by this motel. I had some worries about it, but I figured for the price, it was most likely worth it. The room was mediocre at best. It was small, a bit cold, plain, and looked very outdated. But it was nothing compared to the bathrooms. The bathrooms were close to the most disgusting things I've ever seen (and I goto college and am subjected to dorm bathrooms). We left the room and returned the keys to the owner about 5 minutes after originally being handed them. He gave me his word that the charge would be canceled. I left feeling assured that at least he was a decent person, but about a week later I saw that it was charged on my debit card. ||Avoid this place, it's not worth the $30 you'll save, if I could give zero...

Not to bad of a place that's were our daughter and her boyfriend live . Thank God they got out of the place they were in Oakwood, the people who they were staying with didn't treat them right they lied to them about everything, all she wanted was to try to break up her and Bud and set her up with her stupid son , well didn't work I got them out of there because she kicked them out because Bud told her son back off so she kicked them out and they were staying in a tent in Oakwood so they got this place and I got all there stuff out of the woman place woohoo thank God .
