Slopeside Rentals - Condos at Sunday River Ski Resort — Hotel in Newry

We recently rented a double condo (slope side) in the Fall Line Condos at Sunday River, Maine, and worked with Heidi to arrange it. The condo was great! It was advertised as sleeping 10, which it comfortably did. The living room was quite large, with 2 large couches and 2 comfortable chairs, and a large-screen TV. The dining area easily seated 8 at the table, and 10 if you squeezed everyone in. The kitchen was big and had a new refrigerator (with an ice maker that actually produced plenty of ice), full sized stove and oven, loads of cabinet space, dishwasher, etc. There was a bathroom downstairs and a second bathroom upstairs as part of the master bedroom. The condo was well stocked with sheets and blankets, pillows, and bath towels. Inside the door downstairs, the owners had 4 tall cubbies built in for storing ski boots, ski jackets, etc - each cubby had a lower and upper shelf, and a rack with hangers for jackets. Heidi was great to work with...she had the condo ready for us when planned, and when we inadvertently left a large item in the condo when we vacated, called us and arranged to have it shipped home to us. We just finished a stay in a unit at this location. It is very convenient, and functionally a good spot. However our unit was one step above a dorm. The floor was peeling away in the bathroom. The sponge provided in the kitchen looked 6+months old. There was barely enough utensils, one broken spatula (good luck making eggs), towels were clean but guessing about 5-6 years old, no tissues.... we fully realized when we booked this spot that it wasn’t a 5 star hotel. However it is dated, feels nothing like a home, and I’m not sure the relative reasonable cost is even worth the value...

Our stay at Sunday River was seamless all because of Heidi at slope side rentals! We parked our car at the condo on Friday and never used it again until we left we just skied and lounged in the condo and at the pool all weekend! Literally could be on the trail before lifts opened it was so convenient and fun. Our condo at Brookside had everything and the one time we needed Heidi she was easy to reach and super accommodating. Cant wait...
