Everything about this house made it a perfect place for our family and extended family to have an amazing time. The house is beautiful itself and in a quiet private setting. Where at night in the hot tub or on the spacious lawn you can see a million shooting stars. It's hard to leave for shight seeing when there was so much to do right at the house. We had endless fun playing games, making smores.The treasure hunts became a family event quickly. The kids definitely enjoyed the game room and hobit house. It was spacious enough for each of us to have our own privacy when needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials for making big and small meals. Just bring your food and family and let the memories make themselves. There's plenty to see in the area and its not to far from the bigger grocery stores if you prefer to shop when you arrive. I can't thank the owners enough for renting thier home for others to enjoy. You really have thought of everything. The Maine Ski House is the perfect place to take your family or significant other for a relaxing time. It is less than a five minute drive from the South Ridge Lodge at Sunday River, the Matterhorn Ski Bar, Trails End Restaurant & Tavern, and the Sunday River Brewery. The house sleeps 14 comfortably and is fully furnished. The owners keep it well maintained and clean with fresh towels and solid appliances. The whole house is great for hosting friends and family events. The down stairs bar/entertainment rooms, outside fire pit, hot tub, and grill only add to fun the ski house provided. Great rental for any season. The owner does an awesome job of making it a fun and unique place to stay! Lots of character here.
