The biggest disappointment is their product selection does not match the advertising on their website. Case in point: On the website, they boast 40 different strains. I doubt they have 20 or even 15. Amounts and sizes are nonstandard as well. Seems like it is designed to maximize profit over customer satisfaction. When someone travels to purchase the product, the store inventory should reflect what is on their website. I have been trying to purchase a particular strain for nearly a year. I occasionally call and check to see if they have gotten it they always reply "No we're out of that at the moment"...Moment??? Like how about a year? I get it's only weed but they have been out of certain strains for over a year which indicates they do not/ can not carry that particular strain. Therefore it is false advertising or at the least the old bait-and-switch tactic. Here's an idea....REMOVE THE STRAINS YOU NO LONGER CARRY STOP WASTING PEOPLES TIME. I get it weed is weed no big deal, eh? Essentially, your clientele consists of frequent stoners, then there are medical users, then there is the occasional coinsurer. Stoners are happy with any weed. Coinsurer...not so much. Also, the service personnel are slightly on the arrogant side. There is nothing warm and fuzzy about the experience of doing business. They make the overall experience feel like it's a privilege doing business with them rather than appreciating your patronage. Resolutions. 1. My suggestion, respectfully, is that you should acquire the products advertised on your website and stock them in your store. If you do not have it, or no longer carry it, or can not get it remove it from your website. I have been asking for a particular strain for approximately a year. People drive considerable distances to obtain a particular strain only to be disappointed that you don't have it or seemingly NEVER have it. 2. Implement customer service interaction training/classes with store personnel to make the whole experience fun, gracious, successful, and satisfying. Simple Business 101, nothing difficult about it. We'll check back in a couple of months to see if the owner can up his/her game and make the customer feel...
Read moreThis place is amazing. Every single staff member is amazing. I have been shopping at JAR regularly since 2022 when I moved back east. It doesn't matter if I am shopping on a budget or I'm looking to ball out, they staff makes sure I get the most bang for my buck! The staff is always super friendly even with my game of 100 questions making sure I get the perfect balance of edibles, concentrate, cartridge and flower for the budget I'm willing to spend that month... Even though I only shop 1-2x a month they recognize me, not always by name, but with a smile ( we're all stoners, no judgement I don't remember names either) but the vibes of recognition are there. I always feel welcome. It's always worth the drive. The products, edibles, buds, dabs, everything they stand behind is worth the dollar spent. And I'm kind of a snob. I grow weed. I've made extracts, bubble, Co2, live rosin with nug smashers. This place...
Read moreWhile Ross is the one who helped me the most— these sentiments extend to the entire staff, as everyone was just so welcoming and friendly. I am an out-of-state patient, and this was my first time in a state who offered reciprocity for my medical card. Ross was really kind and quickly explained the process, confidently answering any questions I had. The storefront was gorgeous, as were the displays featuring their product. HIGHly recommend this establishment to anyone looking to purchase quality product, whether you live in the area or (like me) are visiting for a little while. 10/10...
