Our stay was phenomenal! Linda was the absolute best! Hospitality takes on a new meaning here. We originally had booked our stay at the econo lodge but our kids have bad allergies and that place was just not suitable for them. We called holiday inn and Linda found a room for us last minute. She's a legit miracle worker! She was so sweet, polite, helpful and sympathetic to our situation.Talk about customer service. I give her a 10 out of 10!! The room was exactly what we needed: clean, spacious, HUGE and extremely comfortable bed, fridge n microwave, spacious bathroom with great size tub, hot shower with great water pressure, beautiful view, and as a bonus there was a pullout couch and table. They even provided us with a crib for our baby. This I believe was a king suite and it was absolutely worth it. Linda was sweet enough to give us the military discount which saved us significantly. The staff were all very friendly and made you feel welcomed. They made you feel like if you needed anything at all they would be glad to help you out, whatever the request. A delicious hot breakfast was available every morning which is rare nowadays (covid) so this was for sure a highlight for us! Great variety of breakfast items(yogurt, cereal, omelette, sausage, bagels, croissant, fruit, neato pancake maker, juice). Coffee stand right outside breakfast area and the best part is it was available 24/7! The lady running the morning breakfast was outstanding! Such a hard worker, always made sure everything was stocked and you can genuinely tell that she enjoys what she does and takes pride in doing it. The overall venue itself was exactly what you want in a hotel stay. I've been to a lot of hotels and this seriously was one of my most enjoyable hotel stays to date. They provided us with everything that we needed for a great and comfortable stay. I was very impressed with this hotel and if you are in town for a wedding or a special event or just passing through, I HIGHLY...

Read moreI decided to treat myself to the king suite with two person tub during a visit with the inlaws. It is on the first floor...guessing for insurance reasons, however it is in the front of the building, so you potentially can have someone park a few feet from your window, and there is also an excellent spotlight shining in. Luckily there were blackout shades, I wasn't really there for the view anyways. The tub is not incredibly deep, but it was enjoyable. Holiday Inn is meant to be affordable, it is not a spa.
The part that really bugged me was that even though the hotel was far from full, every room around the suite was full, and the walls are very thin. Directly next to us, in what was potentially an adjoining room, was a family with a baby. We could hear everything, and the baby was up super early, as babies are, banging and crying. Not blaming the baby here, I just think maybe room allocations could have been different. We asked to be moved and were told that ours was the only room with a tub, and that our neighbors were checking out that day. All good, only the next morning the cleaning staff start vacuuming the halls (again, you can hear everything) very early and are banging on the walls as they do it. I really wanted to treat myself here...from now on I will only book the bargain rooms when I stay.
We were offered $10 in gift cards from Dunkin' as an apology, which is a nice gesture, but they are unusable since we don't have any where we live. Also, kind of inadequate considering the price of the room.
The hot breakfast,...
