I was going to start off with how grungy and dank the room was, but there are plenty of other reviews that will tell you the same thing. Staff waited until around 10:00pm to tell me I had to move my vehicle "because you're parked in like four different spots". I had been driving all day and had to drive through Chicago. Needless to say, I was VERY tired. Yes I was irritated, but I got out of bed, put my clothes back on and went to move my vehicle. I was completely dumbfounded because there were no lines on the parking lot and only a handful of cars. When I suggested that they put some lines on the parking lot, he started to argue and say there are lines and they are perfectly visible. I also suggested he go outside and see that I was parked to his satisfaction. Long story short, I was told to leave. When I got home, I called the general manager to complain. When I explained my side of the story, she countered and said that her staff told her that I was being threatening and using racist slurs! EVERYBODY who knows me knows that I am a reasonable, rational, kind person and that I would do NO such thing! I did NOT raise my voice, I was NOT being aggressive or threatening in any way, I did NOT call anybody anything! And I resent being accused of such behavior! To attack a person's character for the sole purpose of feeling like "a big man" is just plain pathetic and unprofessional! So save yourself and go...

They are only getting 2 stars because the houskeeping ladies were so polite, or else I would have given them one......This place will never get another dime from me. 1. The shower head was disgusting (mold and rust)and the drain had hair and crud in it. 2. The air conditioner leaked water all on the carpet and the room had a stintch due to this. 3. The phone didn't have a dial tone. 4. We seen a mouse, frog, and a few roaches. 5. The Caucasian heavy set man at the desk was rude as if we were an inconvenience to him by saying "this is too much." He should either find a job that isn't too much or learn to keep his mouth quiet in front of the guest. Since we did pay good money to stay at this ratchet hotel. 6. There were gnats everywhere! 7. The bathroom sink had the slowest leak. The sink would fill up with water while washing hands and then it took about seven mins for the water to drain out. 8. We didn't have any wash clothes. 9. No elevators in a 2 story building. 10. All the entrance/exit doors are unlocked at all times. There isn't a key card entrance. Now thats dangerous. I think this about covers it. I left a day early knowing I wouldn't get a refund. The mouse took me all the way out. I had to go!! I was there for a wedding or else I would have left on the first day. I think this is all, if it isn't I will return to edit this review. If you are looking for a nice...

Cons No hot breakfast. Only cereal and bagels. So I ended up going to the wonderful restaurant right next door with has wonderful food. But go ahead and tack on an extra $20 (2 adults 1kid) to your stay since you have to buy your breakfast. Definitely not worth charging $95 a night if no true breakfast is provided. -Bathroom is extremely dark even though it's small. Proper lighting would help! -NO elevator!!! Who doesn't have elevators these days? -No luggage carts either. Each door from the outside has a huge step so you will have to lift your stuff over it! We had alot of stuff so we ended up just tossing it through the window to eachother. Marijuana! I don't know where it's coming from but iv been woken up in my sleep twice because it smelt so strong I was gagging in my sleep! No sure if they were smoking inside the hotel or right outside my AC unit but I was very upset! -Hotel is like a maze. Very easy to get lost if you get put in the back building. -Our bed was very hard, my husband and I both woke up extremely sore despite being young so I cannot imagine how bad an older person would feel after sleeping in that bed for a night -WiFi is very bad. Or at least it is in the back building. You can't get over two bars, most of the time it's just 1. You can't do anything with that.

Pros -Room was clean -Very close to chacago -Nice OUTDOOR...

I’ve stayed at Wyndham and Ramada properties on a handful of occasions, and was always satisfied with their properties. For $120 a night I expected more. I also saw 3.5 stars before I checked in. Realistically I give it 2-2.5 stars. I’ve stayed at a nicer Motel 6. I declined 3 rooms (I’ve never declined a room) before I accepted the 4th (the deluxe room 136). The first room had a far too noisy AC unit, that can be forgiven. The second room reeked of smoke even though there’s no smoking decals everywhere. The third room was adjacent to a small child who was having a temper tantrum at the time, again forgivable. Even though #136 smelled a bit funky I took it. When I pulled the blanket down on the bed #1 I was 99% positive that it had been slept in and no one washed the sheets due to the hairs that I spotted. At that point, I should’ve sought another hotel but I was exhausted from driving all day and just wanted to rest. Breakfast is hard boiled eggs and cereal. The coffee was hot! The upgrade on this place is also poor. Those water supply lines you see (why you see them is beyond me) behind the refrigerator are still live, meaning you, or your kid, could turn on the valves and flood the entire first floor. I spoke with manager and she offered to reimburse my points or give me points, not exactly sure. I just know I’ll never stay there again.

They do not put a refundable hold on your credit card for damages when checking in, unless paying with cash, which is a plus. They have a beautiful courtyard that separates the Lobby& dining from the rooms, however the entering/exiting doors outside aren't secure with a swipe access, they're unlocked at all times without camera footage so literally anyone can enter the side & back doors. Great location from Casino. Clean room with enough towels & soaps. Room came with mini fridge, microwave, & 2 units for controlling the room temperature. Couldn't figure out how to use the fireplace & both the ice machines on the floor were out of order. Loved the size of the room with vaulted ceilings, and the view of the courtyard from the room. Customer service was good. Will go back again.
