The hotel was not clean. There was an odor in the hallway due to mold on the walls and then when I entered my room there was hair on the shower walls and in the sink, which indicated that those areas had not been cleaned after the previous guests. There was also pieces of torn paper on the floors indicating that the floor had not been vacuumed. Availability of towels. My room initially had 4 sets of towels. After the 1st night I called the front desk and asked for new towels. I was told I needed to put the old towels in a bag and that new towels would be brought. I put all the towels in a bag and gave them to the lady that came to the door. She gave me two large towels, 3 hand towels, and 1 washcloth. I asked her for more towels and she told me that was all the towels that were available with no offer to bring more later after laundry was done. Breakfast. This had to be the worst breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. There was no eggs, potatoes, or meat offered. There were only biscuits that were undone in the middle, and waffles that you could make, but they also were undone just from 1 cycle in the waffle maker. I think that "breakfast" should be taken off as an amenity at this hotel because it truly is not a benefit of staying here. The staff. We checked in about 11pm. When I came in, the front desk lady was watching TV and she acted so annoyed that I interrupted her during the entire check-in process. Also, during breakfast they turned the lights off on us. My family and I were in the breakfast room having coffee and juice after throwing away that nasty food. Although breakfast ends at 11am the lights were turned off on us about 10:30. No one even said anything like we're closing early or anything. She just came in, turned off the lights and walked away. There is no pool. Which admittedly I knew before I arrived but it still is a reason that I would not recommend this...
Read moreif you won't be spending much time in the room (I didn't) and need a cheap place to stay this is acceptable. but the location is on a back dirt road with no line (pay to get it paved!) and there was simple cosmetic things that a DAB of paint would have made the place look less shabby and gross.
the desk chair in my room didn't move up or down, they don't have updated pulls for chargers (so I had to go buy a wall charger end for my phone cord-this is kinda my fault as I shouldn't have assumed and could have brought my own) the closet gas stations were 18 dollars LOL the 2nd on I went to had one for 9 so I got that)
not bad but honestly I like to "feel" like I'm in something bigger" I feel like the bed I had was a FULL and not a queen too I have to check which one I actually BOUGHT vs what I got, room was small I thought I'd gotten a SUITE but there was no living room area either just a short hall then BR and living room with a desk, it was nice it had a fridge and microwave both of which I used.
that hand towel had a hair on it NOT MINE and I never touched that one, that spoke on the ceiling was right above my head when you sleep, again just a DAB of paint to keep customers from being grossed out, the same for the side of the bathroom sink
location is like a half mile from all the other nicer hotels and next to I "THINK" a non working gentleman club it didn't feel "quite" safe and it wasn't super loud but there was a lot going on in the halls when I went to be myself late at 12:30 I did not sleep well kept waking up...
Read moreLooked online for a reasonable place to stay while passing through. Got there tired as heck at 1050pm. Was approached by a man as soon as I got out of my car asking me for a lighter..this was after the shock of pulling up and seeing it was next to a gentlemans club with a flashing sign right next to the hotel. I walked in with my bags and was overcome with a strong weed smell...noticed the gentleman from the parking lot sitting on the couch by the front desk. I could hear 2 people behind the counter on the other side of the wall as I stood there complaining about shifts. Eventually one employee walked around and out the front door with the gentleman on the couch, telling the other employee to have a goodnight. The other worker went out the back door...both saw me...and there I stood for another 10 minutes waiting for someone to check me in. I called the hotel number..no reaponse as I stood there. Miss grumpy pants came back to the counter from the back and said "wait, I need to check in, I have no idea whats going on"... had I not been so tired I'd have drug my stuff outside and charged back my card and went elsewhere. I was put on the 1st floor seemingly near regulars and the place smelled so bad. The bed appeared clean or I would have lost it there...the chair on the other hand...really..you expect people to sit on the seat stains from lord knows what.
Horrible horrible place, unsafe feeling and ZERO regard for customers. ...
